It was late in the afternoon, and Palutena had told Pit and Dark Pit to meet her in the main room, saying that she had an important announcement for them.
Pit: I wonder why Palutena called us in here, Pittoo.
Dark Pit: Beats me. Guess we're about to find out. [Palutena then walked into the main room, sitting on a couch in front of the boys]
Palutena: Hello, boys! You're probably wondering why I called you in here!

Pit: You said that you had something you needed to tell us, right Lady Palutena?
Dark Pit: What's the announcement?
Palutena: Well, this week, I want you both to take the task of volunteering on Earth!
Pit: Sounds fun! How long do we have to do it for?
Palutena: Three days! Once three days are up, you two will have completed the task and earn the Helper Heart! [She held up a shiny golden heart as angelic music started playing]
Pit: So shiny!
Dark Pit: [Unamused] It's just a heart pin...

Palutena: You two will be volunteering at the Rosefield Children's Hospital!
Pit: We get to volunteer for children? Awesome! I can't wait! Aren't you excited, Pittoo?
Dark Pit: Eh... I guess... Though don't expect me to get attached to any of the kids...
Palutena: She laughed] Well, you two better get to bed so you can be ready for tomorrow!
Pit: Alright! Pittoo! You've been taking reading lessons from Arlon, right?
