Royalty Meet [ARC 1: QIBLI]

So, before I begin, imma yap for a second. So, most of the stories in this arc will be suggestions by the community, if a story was made by a suggestion the chapter will be dedicated to them, as shown above. 

- ALSO: This is one of the first few stories i've written in months, so expect post-publishing revisions and that kinda boring stuff- 

The AU takes place after the events of Book 5, but before Jade Mountain Academy was constructed.

anyways, I am done yapping now so lets go.

"You aren't even going to polish your earrings?" Queen Thorn stated.

"Nah, I like the foggy look, makes me feel more casual." I replied. We are preparing to meet with the RainWing queen to discuss some boring trade routes and stuff.

"Alright, but at least don't do anything stupid in the Rainforest, we really need to open this fruit trade." Queen Thorn asked nervously.

Flying over Jade Mountain I saw a big construction project going on, construction workers from all tribes digging inside and building foundations outside the mountain.

Hm, people from different tribes working together again? Is this going to be another city like Possibility?

"Hey Thorn, what are they building down there?" I asked.

"Sunny said it was some sort of academy for dragonets of all tribes," she replied.

We kept flying, eventually reaching the entrance to the rainforest. Queen Thorn told me that this place is a pain to navigate. After about 30 minutes of winding trails and falling into quicksand, we spotted the entrance to the RainWing village. Lining the entrance were rows of guards with spears. 

Since when did a pacifistic tribe have guards?

One by one, as we passed the guards, they kneeled and shoved their spears into the ground. At the end of the row was Queen Glory of the RainWings.

"Hello Thorn, seems you have brought a guest?" Queen Glory said.

"This is actually my son, Qibli, I am assuming Sunny has told you about him." Queen Thorn replied. 

"Oh, Qibli? Sunny has told me about you before I believe." Queen Glory exclaimed while signaling us into the village.

The meeting area was huge, and unlike most tribes, located outside the main buildings. It was a lush field surrounded by flowers with a vineyard in the middle.

"Qibli, why don't you go around and explore the area little bit? It will be good for you." Thorn said.

"Uhm, you sure? What if I accidently burn down a fruit stand or something?" I exclaimed.

"You will be fine, trust me." Thorn responded while chuckling to herself.

I lifted my wings and flew out. "I will be back by noon!" I shouted.

The main part of the village was bright and active, rows of small homes, some in trees, some on the ground, and platforms all around.

Fruit stands and shops littered the sides of roads. At the end of the road was a medics hut, where a NightWing male was being treated.

I found that behind the medics hut was a road with trees and bushes overgrowing the pathway.

This is... certainly not very well maintained

Flying down the long path all I could see were trees lining both sides. The lush forest made it almost impossible to see anything besides forward. 

Alright... if someone appears I just fly over the canopy and turn back... or maybe that creek to the right... nope, poisonous plants everywhere... hmm-

"Please just stop-" a nearby voice shouted.

I immediately dove to the side near the protection of a bush.

 Woah, who is that, and why do they have a NightWing accent?

"No, no, I mean no harm, I swear!" the distant voice yelled again.

So yall are probably wondering why this was so short and came out so late, basically, while finishing this at like 4am I forgot to save, now you may think:

"Okay, but it autosaves."

My internet conveniently decided to screw me over and the autosave wouldn't work without internet. I had a backup save for the first ~550 words, so here that is. In a few days I will finish up on the missing piece.

At first I will post it on a new chapter, but after a day I will merge it with this chapter.
