"Why exactly are we here again?" Stiles sighed as Nora opened the door to the familiar apothecary. The girl had dragged Stiles out of the house since the boy had been huddled up in his room since last nights murder at the mechanics. Nora was still beating herself up for not going with the boy rather than sulking about Derek's stupid actions at home.
The door chimed as it shut hitting the bell that was set up to alert the owner to costumers but no one walked out of the back.
"Because, I need some herbs and this is the only place in town that has them." Nora explained glancing to her younger brother.
"Just don't touch anything, and I'll be quick okay?"
"Okay." Stiles sighed following the girl to the opposite side of the store to where the dried herbs sat atop a book shelf clearly labeled.
Nora sighs shuffling through her pockets for her list but groaned when she couldn't find it.
"I forgot my-" Stiles cut her off handing her list with a pointed look.
"Here."
"Thanks." She smiles, "I don't even know what half the stuff is on that." Stiles glances to her with furrowed brows.
"Blessed Thistle and Devil's Shoestring is for protection. Coriander is for my head aches, and Althea Root is for protection, calming an angry person, and can aid psychic powers. Calamint soothes sorrows and helps in recovery from emotional pain." She takes a deep breath picking up the herbs she needs while explaining.
"Sage has many uses, it can be used for self purification and dealing with grief and loss. Carried to improve mental ability and bring wisdom. Used in healing sachets & incense. Promotes spiritual, mental, emotional & physical health and longevity. Removes negative energy. Dandelion Leaf can be used to summon spirits, make wishes on, healing, purification and defeating negativity." She glanced to see Stiles eyes widening, "And you need this for?"
