"I still can't believe you're dating my brother.." Cora shook her head at the witch that sat beside her waiting for said man to bring her the tea he was making.
"I still can't believe you're alive, and for the record he's my mate." Nora snorted slightly defensively making the wolf hold her hand up in surrender.
"Still.. it's weird." Cora smiled glancing to Derek in the kitchen knowning he could hear her, "And mom knew?"
"She did, and so did Peter." Derek answered from the kitchen.
"What about them!?" The witch waved her hand to the couple that sat across from her who turned to her in surprise as she tried to get the attention off of her and Derek.
"On come on, I saw that coming years ago." She snorted back to their faces.
"What?" Nora sat up in shock, "Was I blind or something?"
"No offence Moony but you were a little distracted." Lucas nodded towards the alpha that came to sit beside the witch handing her the mug full of tea.
Derek grinned, "Did I distract you?" Nora glanced between her friends with a red face before settling back on Lucas, "Shut up."
"So where have you been the last six years?" Lucas ignored his friend turning to the younger hale.
"After the fire," Cora sighed glancing at Derek and Nora tensed remembering the night before, "I just ran, into ended up with a pack in South America, they knew of mom and kept me safe, until I caught wind of a Hale alpha in Beacon Hills. I thought I was the last one alive."
The group all went silent at the reminder of the fire, Nora leaning into Derek a bit more to comfort the man.
"Other than you two finally dating, what else did I miss?"
