The day was nice, the sun was shining, the birds were tweeting and kids laughing and screaming was heard from everywhere. The breeze that blew through the air was pleasant on the skin, making the twenty eight degrees bearable so everyone was outside.

After Harry woke Ivy up from her nap he changed her nappy and dressed her in pink shorts and a white frilly top with light pink flowers on it along with white socks and pink glittery shoes.

"All dressed, darling. Are you content?" He asked when he turned Ivy towards the mirror and watched how she touched the glass curiously, her big blue eyes glistening in the sunlight that was shining into her room.

She squealed and made a twirl, almost losing balance, but holding herself up on the backrest of her little chair from the play corner just in time.

"Woah, careful." Harry chuckled and crouched down in front of her, putting the headband in her hair to keep the individual strands out of her face, the rest of her hair was secured in two ponytails on her head.

Ivy laughed and brought her little hand up to Harry's face, poking his nose and giggling once more. Harry scrunched up his nose and did the same to her. "Boop." He said and she giggled again. "Alright. I bet Conor is already waiting for us."

When they came down the stairs Georgie came running towards them and raced upstairs to his room, probably finding something more interesting to do than being outside with the little kids and when they stepped out of the house and onto the terrace Louis, Niall and Chloe were already sitting on the lounge, secured by the giant sunshade, talking while Chloe supervised Conor who was just eating watermelon.

"Ivy, Ivy! Come sit!" He gasped when he saw the little girl and stood atop the seat to look over the backrest properly.

"Conor, sit down, please." Niall scolded, but the little boy didn't listen to him and jumped up and down instead.

"Conor, listen to daddy. Sit down or you're not gonna play at all." Chloe said softly, but with a stern undertone and Conor eventually stopped and sat back down, resuming to eat.

"I'm giving up. It's pointless." Niall huffed.

"You have other qualities, babe." Chloe laughed and Louis joined in, just because he knew it was pissing him off.

"Highly doubt it, but if you say so." He smirked and dodged an incoming elbow from Niall by leaning to the side. "Look who's there!" He made a surprised face when Ivy rounded the table and stood between his legs, placing her little hands on his thighs. "Look at how pretty you are, princess! With those little pigtails there."

Ivy giggled and leaned against his leg looking up at him dreamily.

"And here we have the big bad wolf who turns all mushy because of a little girl with pigtails." Niall teased and received a middle finger from Louis in return along with laughter from Chloe and Harry.

"Leave me and my baby alone just because yours doesn't like you." He countered and Niall gasped.

"That hurt." He pouted.

"I'm joking, Nialler. You know I love you." Louis grinned.

"I love you too." Niall smiled widely and scooted closer to Louis who sighed amused, feeling a gaze boring into his back.

"Calm down, baby. We're just joking." He chuckled without looking at Harry.

"I surely hope so." Harry grumbled and plopped down on the couch as well, taking a watermelon after asking Conor if he could have a slice who practically shoved one in his hand. He noticed Ivy peeking at him from between her fingers longingly and a smile grew on his face. "Do you want one as well, darling?"
