I had a really hard time editing this chapter and you will know why in a second...but here it is. I hope you are doing okay, sending you all hugs and kisses xx
"I thought you'd bring the boys." Harry mentioned when he came back to the couch with a tray that carried three steaming mugs and placed them on the table for Niall and Liam to take their teas.
"Chloe is at her parents' house with Conor, planning Christmas and stuff." Niall shrugged.
"I was thinking of taking Sami, but he was still asleep and Kaia is acting out a lot so I left him with her so she learns about responsibility." Liam explained.
"That's evil." Niall chuckled.
"I get it. Sometimes I feel like they're too spoiled which is probably our fault because we're getting them everything." Harry frowned.
"Yeah, I know. Just last week Zayn had a huge fight with Leya who complained that he only gave her fifty pounds when she wanted to go out with her friends. As if we're a bank with unlimited money!" Liam said with a shake of his head.
"She needs a job." Harry said pointedly. "That's what I told Charlie before the accident happened, he was the same. It's ridiculous."
"We weren't much different, guys." Niall reminded. "Our parents didn't have as much as you do now, but we were spoiled as well. D'you remember when we moved to London? No flat was good enough for us."
"But because the ones we visited were too small for all of us and we wanted to move in together." Harry argued with a smile, thinking back to years ago when their lives changed.
"And how long did that work until you moved out?" Niall asked expectantly.
"Not my fault that I found the love of my life." Harry grinned.
"Oh, please! He wasn't the love of your life when you moved in together." Niall snorted.
"In fact you only moved in here because of some psychopath." Liam snorted.
"But it turned out well enough, didn't it?" Harry grinned proudly.
"True." Niall nodded. "Speaking of, did Louis find out what happened to him?"
"Oh yeah, he did. " Harry's smile fell and he shifted on the cushion. "Nothing happened to Kyle." He sighed.
"What do you mean 'nothing happened'?" Liam frowned in worry.
Harry shrugged. "They tried to kill him apparently, but the guards noticed and saved him. When he got out of the hospital ward he caused a riot where two guards were killed so he got a life long sentence. And that's it."
"That's good though, isn't it? He will never see the outside of prison ever again." Liam guessed.
"No, he deserved a painful death for what he did to them!" Niall contradicted and crossed his arms to underline his anger.
"No one deserves that." Harry frowned. "I know I thought about it differently a few years ago, but Liam's right. He can't harm us anymore and that's all that matters."
"You're too good for this world." Niall huffed with a smile.
Liam looked around the living room curiously when he remembered what they talked about earlier. "Where even are your kids? It's suspiciously quiet."
"Oh..." Harry chuckled. "Ruby is over at Lucas' house and my mum took Ivy for Christmas shopping. Georgie is in his room, he found a new hobby, crafting."
"That boy gets excited about everything." Niall cackled.
"He does. He's already impatient for Louis to start renovating the bathroom, constantly comes up with the craziest ideas." Harry chuckled at his youngest son.
