HAPPY LARRYVERSARY!!!💙💚

Didn't want to update today, but I have to on a day like this, right? So here you go, leave some love. x

Harry woke up with a hammering headache when he got blended by the light that was shining into the room from the huge windows. He had trouble opening his eyes and when he managed halfway everything was blurred.

It took him some time until he was able to properly see anything and he realised he was in his bedroom. And then it dawned him.

His head shot up and he whined when his headache worsened, but that wasn't what made him cry out eventually. It was the stinging pain that ran up his spine and he dropped back down on the mattress with gritted teeth, not being used to that feeling at all anymore.

He didn't know how long he lay there until it vanished and he made a new attempt to lift his head and when he did he noticed that he was alone in the room and he wasn't clear enough in his head yet to know if he was glad or disappointed.

He couldn't help himself when he reached over to the empty side of the bed and brushed over the neatly made bedsheets, remembering that it looked exactly like when he had made it yesterday so no one had been lying there.

He tried to remember what happened when they were done, how he got in his bed and if he got dressed into a fresh pair of panties by himself, but there was just plain emptiness. It didn't help his memory when he noticed the smell of magnolia and coconut, his shower gel. He sniffed on his arm in confusion where the smell was still lingering. Did he have a shower?

He felt ridiculous because he knew the answer to those questions and who was responsible for all that.

The answer he couldn't think of a minute ago was right there in front of his eyes. He was disappointed. His chest got pulled together and he tried to remember a time where Louis wasn't there after such a night. There was none. Because he was always there.

Always, apart from today.

He fought against the sudden burning in his eyes and took a deep breath when there was a knock on the door.

"Yeah?" He croaked out and the door opened slowly.

To his great surprise Louis appeared in the doorframe with a restrained look on his face and stepped inside with a tray of food and a cup of coffee on it.

"Morning." He said cautiously.

If Harry wanted to reply anything he couldn't when a heavy lump formed in his throat. Louis sighed, misinterpreting his silence.

"Here, Maria made breakfast." He muttered and put the tray on the bed before he took a step back. "I just wanted to see if you need anything or...if you're alright on your own."

"No, thanks." Harry murmured. "I'm alright." He forced out, knowing that Louis subtly meant if he still needed his closeness after such a harsh scene and his heavy emotions.

"Okay, then." Louis said and hoped Harry couldn't see his disappointment. "I got Charlie sorted for the morning, just call if I can help."

He turned around and walked towards the door about to leave when Harry seemingly didn't want him there and he was almost out of the room when Harry spoke up once more.

"Lou?" He asked with a slight desperation in his voice.

"Yeah?" Louis halted and turned back to him. Harry just patted the bed next to him and he came over and sat down on the edge. He could see the tears in his eyes and sighed. "What's wrong?" He asked softly.

"I'm sorry." Harry choked out.

"I told you yesterday you don't have to be sorry." Louis appeased.

"But we weren't thinking clearly and-..."
