After Shock

Chapter Five

Sky's point of view:

Me and Abi were watching a chick flick called 'the pretty one'. This was one of the first movies that we watched together, I looked over to her. She was crying her eyes out, I couldn't help but laugh she has never cried like this before. She threw a pillow at me. Then someone walked through the door.
"Hey Abi, hey boss?" Ellie said starring at me with confusion painted on her face.
"Okay Ellie, Sky will be staying with us all for a while, okay?" Abi asked, giving Ellie a stern look. She nodded, but then Zach walked through the door. I totally forgot they went on a date.
"Zach what are you doing here?" I asked cocking my eyebrow. He blushed.
"Well Ellie invited me to stay for the night. I can leave if you don't want me here."
"No, it's fine. But there is only one rule, no fun. If you know what I mean." She giggled. Ellie grabbed his hand and lead him into her bedroom. I hope Evelyn won't be like this when she's older. We started to laugh and then Callum and Jamie jumped on the sofa next to us.
"So what we watching? I really want to watch this new movie called Death Upon A Chain. If that's alright with you guys?" Callum asked looking at us. We all nodded, and he changed the channel over. I could feel my eyes slowly shut, and then I was asleep

I was driving over to Owen's bungalow to pick up the twins. When I saw his mortar bike parked at the side of the road. I stopped the car and hopped out, I walked for a good two minutes. Until I saw, Owen sitting on a plaid blanket playing with the twins. I could just watch them all day. But I couldn't so I walked over to them, he looked up and smiled at me. Then the flash back started...

"Owen about yesterday." I grabbed Owen's shoulder. He turned to face me.
"I know what you are going to tell me. That the kiss meant nothing to you, and that we shouldn't talk about it anymore. I understand. It didn't mean that much to me either." He said brushing my hand off of his shoulder. I could feel myself welling up. So I took a deep breathe in, how could he feel that way? Instead of following him I ran all the way to Lowery's apartment. I knocked on the door, still crying my eyes out. As soon as he opened the door I engulfed him with a hug.
"What's wrong? Sky you can tell me." He asked me.
"It's Owen, we kissed yesterday and..."
"You kissed?!?!" He asked me in a shocked tone. So I hit him in the chest.
"That's not the problem, I tried to talk to him but he said he didn't care about me." I sobbed, whilst Lowery lead me inside.

"See I told you mommy would come back," he said to the twins, snapping me back into reality, then to me," I am so sorry, the reason I didn't introduce you in that way yet. Is because of that I didn't want a awkward atmosphere around. I hope you can forgive me, our wedding is in two weeks and I just want us to be back together." He looked at me with those eyes I couldn't resist. I smiled and he smiled back. So I sat and picked up Evelyn, I had missed them all so much.
"But I thinks that I should still stay with Abi for a while, just until I get back to normal. But I still love you, anyway if I did come back Abi would be here all the time for wedding dress shopping." I laughed, he nodded and agreed. I kissed him and he kissed me back. I am happy that we have made up, it just wouldn't be the same.
