After Shock

Chapter Eight

Owen's POV:

After we had calmed Abi down, we made her go to her apartment to check again.
"Owen shall we go and look for them in the plains?" Sky asked me, you could see the worry in her face. I nodded and we both jogged to the jeep. We both hopped in and Sky turned the ignition on, but the car would not start up.
"Fuck! We are going to have to run there." Sky said under her breathe, I grabbed her shoulder and kissed her.
"Wait here." I told her. I had to fetch something.

I had been gone for a good 15 minutes, I finally got back to the main building to see Sky reading my notebook.
"Being nosey are we now, Miss Richardson?" She threw the book back into the car and blushed. Her faced suddenly dropped when she saw the bike.
"If you think I am getting on that, you can think again." She said crossing her arms across her chest. I got up and walked over to her. Then I threw her over my shoulder.
"Grady, you can put me down this instant!," she moaned hitting my back; so I started to tickle her, "Owen stop it! Owen!" She giggled. Then I sat her on the bike and hopped on myself.
"Either you fall off and hurt yourself, or hold on and we find Zach and Ellie." She quickly wrapped her arms around me and pulled herself closer to me. I started to blush and we headed off.

We got to the plains and saw no sign of them. But then we heard shouting.
"Ellie! Zach!" I heard Jamie shout. She was running around with Callum looking for them. So we ran over to them.
"Any sign of them?" I asked, Callum shook his head. Jamie-Leigh started to cry, so Sky being the amazing person she is, hugged her and calmed her down.
"Okay, Owen you stay with these two. And I will go and find Abi. Seeing if she has any luck." She said walking off, my eyes wondered.
"Owen Grady! Stop looking at my ass!" She shouted, so I chuckled. She hopped onto the bike and rode off. God I love her!
