THE NEIGHBORS UPSTAIRS WERE
AT IT AGAIN.

The moans started faint and soft but soon grew louder, more intense. Their bedframe creaked, banging against the floor. I could feel the flush creeping up my neck, making me even more uncomfortable. I shifted, trying to ignore the heat pooling in. Elijah, lying next to me, was scrolling through his phone, oblivious to the noise.

"Yo, you hear that?" I nudged him, my voice barely above a whisper. He paused, listening for a second before he caught on.

"Nah, they wildin' again?" He rolled his eyes but couldn't hide the smirk playing at his lips. "Damn, they gotta get a soundproof mattress or something."

I bit my lip, trying to ignore the slickness between my thighs. My eyes drifted to Elijah's face, the way his jawline looked in the dim light, his lips slightly parted. A crazy idea popped into my head, and before I could think it through, I blurted out, "How much you wanna bet we can be louder than them?"
