"Ellie. Ellie." A voice shook the young Elenora awake. Her mind had dreamt up a land of possibilities whilst asleep. Ones she could not wait to tell her brothers and sisters. One of them sat on top her bed currently.

"Tilly!" The small girl grinned. One that reached her eyes and caused them to crinkle. The excitement of her sister waking her up, opposed to a maid, was enough to make the day good. Especially because it was Matilda's debut this year.

"I have to get ready, will you help?" Matilda smiled, reaching for her sisters hand. Elenora nodded gratefully.

"Did you know that Bridgerton girl is to make her debut next season? Luckily our Matilda is out before her." Micheal huffed, reading through the latest articles. Most likely something boring that required the great mind of a man to understand its true enjoyment. At least that's what he told Elenora when she asked.

"Perhaps she will get the diamond of the season?" Charlotte questioned, sipping on her tea. The tea was so sweet it could rot teeth, but it was exactly how Charlotte preferred it. Far too many sugar cubes was perfect.

"Which one?" Micheal asked, lowering his pamphlet and turning to her.

"Both. Tilly is a splendid girl. Daphne is the same. So, you are right, it is lucky they are not in the same season because the queen wouldn't be able to choose." Charlotte smiled.

Charlotte was caring for her children. She had hoped she had raised them well. The Bridgertons had been long time friends with the Clifton's. Charlotte had grown up with Violet, due to her being just a few years older. Violet's father was business partners with Charlotte's.

The Clifton's and the Bridgerton's were always intertwined it seemed. For every Clifton, there was a Bridgerton counterpart.

Arthur had Anthony. Charles had Colin and Benedict, due his age being perfectly between them. Anastasia had Colin. Matilda had Daphne. Elenora had Eloise. Although it seemed they were all friends, no matter the counterpart they appeared to have.

For example, Elenora preferred the quiet company of Francesca and her piano. Anastasia preferred the girls rather than Colin, who much liked to talk about travels with the brothers. Benedict followed Elenora around ever since they were little.

"As long as she is married by the end of the season, Charlotte." Micheal said, tapping on his cup.
