"Elenora!" Micheal called. "We are all waiting for you." He huffed, waiting for his daughter.

The maid that was currently pinning the girls hair sighed. "I'm sorry I can't be faster ma'am." The thick northern accent stringing together in her mouth.

"It's okay Meredith. I assure you, the only people ready are my father and brother." Elenora smiled at the maid. She nodded in return, finishing the final curl.

"This room is exceptionally well-lit." Benedict barbled out. His words echoing through the room. It was a pleasant evening, with pleasant guests, and a pleasant feast. "Have you noticed, Col? The twinkle of the candles, it is as- as if... we sit among stars."

"What is wrong with you, Benedict?" Charles questioned. His seat besides the boy started scooting away.

"I was just telling Benedict how brilliant the stars were in Greece." Colin explained. Elenora looked between Benedict and Colin suspiciously.

"Are you enjoying your time here, Miss Edwina?" Daphne said, distracting everyone from Benedict's previous outburst.

"I am, very much. The buzz of this he city is thrilling indeed, but I quite enjoy the peacefulness of the country..." The conversation between the three on the end began to become murmurs.

"So, Elenora, what do you plan to make my brother do now he owes you a favour?" Eloise smiled, turning in her chair to face her friend.

"I'd love to hear any suggestions." Elenora said, taking a bite from the food.

"I have many. You're in luck." Eloise eyed her brother. Thinking of evil plans.

"What about you, Kate?" Elenora turned to the other woman to her right.

"Hmm?" Kate said, placing her cup down. She didn't want expect Elenora to involve her in the conversation.

"Well, every year Elenora and Benedict make a deal. Neither one has managed to win in pall mall, until now. Benedict owes her a favour now." Eloise quickly explained, leaning back in her chair to do so. This earned a small glare from Violet.

"Ah, I see." Kate smiled thinking of what to say. "Perhaps do not waste it. Use it when you are most in need of a favour from him." Elenora smiled.

"That's dreadfully boring, isn't it?" Elenora shook her napkin, hitting Eloise with it. The girl shrugged, unashamed of her answer. Everyone gasped suddenly when Benedict spilt his wine.

"Benedict, dear, you alarm our guests." Violet sighed. Elenora and Charles were far too busy laughing at the giddy man.

"It's quite all right, Lady Bridgerton." Kate replied, smiling.

"Perhaps... it is time for a toast." Lady Danbury tapped the side of her glass.

"A good idea. To cheer our guests." Micheal smiled at Violet,

"Or to tend to other pressing matters." Lady Danbury smirked as the attention was taken off Micheal Clifton and, instead, towards Anthony.

"I believe my sister and I have grown rather weary." Kate stuttered, catching the attention of the room.

"A toast. Yes." Anthony stood. my sincere gratitude to the Sharma's and Cliftons for joining us." The respected families nodded, thankful for their invitation.

"It has been splendid having you here to witness what is now my second annual loss at pall-mall. Not to be repeated, I assure you." The group chuckled at his words.

"My special gratitude to Miss Edwina. It has certainly been a privilege to truly make your acquaintance this past days, in fact I believe there is a question I would like to ask you." Elenora looked over at Benedict, who was already staring at her. Granted, he was fully zoned out.

"I should like to-I should like to ask you to please refrain from telling anyone back in London about yesterday's loss, I fear my reputation would simply be too great." Edwina recoiled in her seat. Her smile dropped completely. Everyone awkwardly chuckled. "To the pleasant days ahead."

"I believe it is time to retire to bed." Elenora smiled politely, pushing her chair out.

"I-I'll escort you." Benedict stumbled. Daphne watched her brother's immediacy towards Elenora. Hyacinth giggled.

"What is wrong with you tonight, Bennie?" Elenora said, shutting the dining room doors.

"Can I tell you a secret, Elle?" He giggled, before hushing himself.

"Anything." She nodded, helping him to sit on the stairs beside her.

"Don't tell anyone." He nodded, placing a finger to his lips as a sign to not tell. She placed pinky out, as if they were kids again. "Colin gave me some special tea. He said it would the mind. Then I poured the whole bag in." He giggled.

"What?" She squinted, he gasped standing up and grabbing her hand.

"We must paint." He continued to walk, until they arrived in his art studio.

He slavered paint across the pallet, his fingers, and the canvas. Elenora watched him, mesmerised. Until Colin walked in. She stood, rushing towards him. "What did you give him?"

"It was something to ease his nerves. It will wear off, I swear." His hands raised in surrender.

"It's magical, brother." Benedict rushed towards the two. He grabbed Colins head kissing his cheek. He quickly moved to Elenora, preforming the same act. She looked away, utterly confused by the feeling of her cheeks heating up.

"I've allowed my doubts to plague me for too long. The royal academy schools are not arbiters of taste. The world is!" He dragged the two to view his art.

"You are a fatwit! Colin scoffed, pushing his brother away.

"Benedict, something has apparently arrived for you." Eloise wondered in, watching the three cause chaos. "A letter from London."

Benedict's face dropped. "Elenora, I can't look at it. Please." He shoved the letter to her face.

She opened it, reading and muttering the words. She looked up, her eyes shifting across the Bridgerton siblings. "You have a place." Her smile grew. "You've been accepted." Benedict grabbed her, spinning her in his arms. She laughed, cheerful for her friend.

"I got in!" He yelled, letting go of Elenora. He rushed to the window. "You shall all bear witness to my talents!" The three left in the room looked away from the man.

"It's the middle of the night!" Colin grabbed his brother.

"He will be as insufferable now as you." Eloise groaned.

"Me?" Colin said questioned. Elenora ducked from the possible argument to make sure Benedict didn't fall from the window.

"I am honoured to accept your acceptance." Benedict recited the letter. Elenora nodded, trying to wipe away his tears.
