Better view

"No, I don't drink!!" I was refusing Nathan's offer, though it looked tempting along with the whole crowd's drinking vibe.
"Nathan, I don't mind if you have it. Just stop insisting on me, please." Politely, I shouted at him; I meant to make him hear the ear-dashing music. He sexily gave a thumbs up and nodded.
His green shirt and black pants were simple yet elegant, which didn't leave my eye for one mere second. I am sure a lot of girls are eyeing him; some are even frowning at my presence with him.
He was like an abandoned Coca-Cola near a trash can. I pretended careless, but as long as I tried to shove the thought, it made me inferior.
It's been six and a half months since I and Nathan met online as friends and ran into each other this morning.
How hilarious!
I always wished to see him one day in person at such a pre-planned destination.
That doesn't mean it must be in his college in front of the principal's office, and that too, with his dear friend Marcus.
I gulped without any concern when I thought about him . It was still intimidating for me to remember the way he screwed me with his sharp stare when I was standing with Nathan.
What does that even mean?
Thank heavens Marcus didn't show up like a ghost here. Otherwise, I would have to sacrifice my remaining confidence and esteem in front of his bad boy aura.
"Yo, I'm leavin' for dance flo'." As I was zoning out, Nathan's voice was traceless.
Batting my lashes, I breathed back into reality.
"I'm cool," I said, raising the glass of orange juice, when my astonishment got a heart attack as Nathan rushed to me to pull myself with him.
Part of the disco colors were dancing on his flawless face.
