(Rhea)

I reluctantly gave him Laila's number and asked him to spill the bean. After all he kissed her! I can't stop thinking about that miracle.

"What else do you want from me?" I enquired him after seeing his silence.

"Tell me who is the guy treated Laila like shit." He bargained with me.

What is he talking about?

"What guy?" Facing his stern look, I matched his red iris.

"The one who used her before ditching." He seemed not to frame that into a sentence, but he did.

Did she tell everything to him?

I sighed and revealed, "He is our senior in high school. Don't know much about him but he played with two girls at the same time. One is her and the other one is me."

His face was like the faded cloud in the mid night. His fists were tight while he tried to listen to me, controlling his emotions.

I added, "We both had no idea about it and shared bed with him. That was the stupidest thing I've ever did. That night, she mentioned to you, was the same night he ditched me. We've never seen him after that."

His stiffness in his face melted a bit but he propagated silence for a while. "Are you okay now?"

Diverting my glare to the grass plot in front of me, "Almost fine. We had nightmares and panic several times and it was hard to come out of it. But we did. Together."

I turned to him, "I have no idea why did she opened up to you quickly."

He looked as amused as I am. "I think about that too."

"There's no wonder you look similar to the guy we despised seeing for the rest of the life. But you are different in some way. She trusts you, Trevor. Don't you ever make her cry!"

I raise my hand to his face as of threatening him. His eyes were blank and thoughtfully he sighed while nodding.

"Is it enough for you to tell me what I asked?" I demanded him.

There were noises from the medical room, where Marcus and Thomass were getting treatment.

"Shall we go see them before that?" He insisted.

My body responded with a shiver. I don't want to see them now. It is so embarrassing. But I nodded.

Ruby, Thomas' sister, was kicked out of the room as she was over-reacting inside the room. I and Trevor got inside while she moved outside. Our eyes met for a millisecond.
