-Maya Pov-

What the fuck happened? First, my girlfriend cheats on me, then I beat the shit out of her, her new girlfriend beats the shit out of me, and then my enemy cooks breakfast for me? What the fuck is going on. I think to myself as I'm laying in my bed, recounting everything that happened a few days ago.

I slept through the whole fucking weekend and now I'm going to be Kate for school. Shit. I realised and I quickly got up, got dressed, ate breakfast, brushed my teeth and did my makeup, trying to forget everything.

I walk out to the front and see Max waiting outside of my house in his car. I walk over and we sit in silence, trying not to remember anything that happened on Friday night. We make it to the school and head our separate ways not wanting to talk to eachother.

It's finally time for psychics, I head to Mt assigned seat. Ava comes in, looking ad beautiful as ever. She sits down next ton me "Are you sure you even got ready today? You look like a mess." She smiled and then laughed, teasing me. "Well atleast i don't look like a fucking cockroach." I say, snapping back with a smirk. "Harsh." She replies, looking at the board, going back to listening to the teacher.

I don't do the same, I just admire her, secretly. Her eyes are so gorgeous I could stare into them forever. I say, losing track of everything happening. "Ms.Maya." The teacher yells. "Hm? Yes?" I say, snapping out of my daydream. "Answer the question I just said." He sternly replies. "Uhh..." I say, looking at my desk knowing damn well I'm gonna get detention. "I'm sorry, I don't know" I say.

"Not good enough Maya. Detention at lunch." The teacher calls back and continues the lesson. I throw my head back groaning quietly. Ava laughs at that a little too loudly. "Ava, shut up or detention for you aswell." He screams. "What?! I wasn't even talking." She replies, confused. "Detention at lunch." He sternly replies. I keep in my laugh so I don't get double detention but I know Ava could hear my laugh slipping through. And she was mad about it.

-Lunchtime-

"I can't believe I got a stupid fucking detention." I hear Ava tell her friends as we're walking to the room, I'm obviously by myself so I'm just listening in on their conversation. "Yeah, that's kinda shitty, what did you even do?" One of her friends asks. "I fucking laughed. That's it. I laughed." Ava says with a serious expression, yet all of her friends burst out laughing.

We finally make it to the room and I head inside first. Ava's wave goodbye and Ava enters next. It's just us. I get kinda shy, even though we're supposed to hate eachother, I still feel this weird feeling around her. I don't know what it is. "So," Ava begins, breaking the silence m, "you were staring at me in class instead of paying attention, huh?" She asks, looking up at me, making eye contact. "Uh..." I stutter, "N-no I wasn't looking at you... I swear." I finally spit out, lying to her.

"Mhm, sure." She says, humming. "So, um, whens the teacher coming?" I ask Ava. "I don't know. Maybe when his lazy ass gets out of his office chair. So, probably never" She replies. I smile at her comment. "So, about Friday." Ava speaks up after about 10 minutes of silence. Oh god. I want to forget all about Friday. "Can we just forget about it?" I ask, giving her a look. "Why were you unconscious on the ground?" Ava asks.

Fuck. "Well, um... Chloe's new girlfriend kinda got revenge and jumped me." I say, looking down in embarrassment. She doesn't reply, just stares at me with worry across her face. Butterflies rush through my stomach when she looks at me with that face. Oh no. I figured out what I'm feeling.

Am I really falling in love with her?
