"How was your study?" Mom asked me as soon as I arrived home.
"Well, Mom." I lied
"If you need help just say it. I know someone who specializes in robotics." She uttered as she sipped from her cup of tea.
"I will." I merely said. and straightly ascended the stairs, too exhausted from earlier. Fortunately Mom did not follow me.
I pulled out my phone to just check the time and calculate how much time I just wasted dealing with Jake's Dad. In fact, we didn't have time to discuss even a crumb of our study. He seemed too elated with the idea of his son who finally satisfied his dreams.
When I look at my phone, I saw a message instead. It was sent twelve minutes ago. Bahagya akong tumagilid and decided to o open it because it's from Ate Chel. And it's a perfect timing to talk to her because I was just too tired of the talk I had with Jake's Dad earlier. Since I wasn't able to resume Tita Xandra's portrait due to Mom's presence, I didn't have so much thing to do.

Kumusta ang araw mo, Ferry?
I read. Agad akong nagtipa ng sagot.
To: Richelle Peñaflor
Can I call instead?"
It didn't take a minute when a message was sent back. I rolled my eyes and sighed. It's him again. I've been talking to him on the platform but still through Ate Chel's account. I just can't grasp the idea knowing he was the one I was actually talking to. With that I started to directly talk to him for I couldn't manage to pretend anymore.
From: Richelle Peñaflor
Nope. You can't.
To: Richelle Peñaflor
Why don't you just give the phone to Ate Chel? She can read.
From: Richelle Peñaflor
She's busy cooking for Mom.
To: Richelle Peñaflor
Then why do you have her phone?
From: Richelle Peñaflor
Pinabantay niya lang hehe
I rolled my eyes upon reading and didn't respond. But then it vibrated again.
From: Richelle Peñaflor
You sound off.
To: Richelle Peñaflor
Just tired.
I honestly replied.
From: Richelle Peñaflor
You can vent it out. I can relay it to Ate Chel while she cooks
Hindi na ulit ako nagreply because I prefer to call Ate Chel instead. But then I heard it vibrated again.
From: Richelle Peñaflor
Wait. Why aren't you still replying to me?
I mean to my account.
You hurt my ego ha
This is the first time I'm left unread.
I read it but didn't reply and chose to dress up instead. I haven't replied to one of his messages yet. As to what he wants me to draw, sabi niya ay susunod nalang daw iyon. He hasn't sent to me a picture yet.
