Laura's fierce interrogation and the arrival of Gwen, Marvel, Miles, Viv, Riri, Torrun, and Sam, all missing important items, escalated tensions. Despite Yuno's protests of innocence, suspicion fell on him until he remembered a likely suspect, the illustrious Black Cat. Widow's entrance with a mission to Hell's Kitchen offered a temporary distraction. Upon arrival, the group met Daredevil and the Defenders, setting the stage for an unexpected alliance.

————— Yuno and the others all looked at the Defenders as they seemingly came out of nowhere. Like seriously, how long had they all been standing in the dark like that? Did they rehearse their entrance beforehand? There are so many questions and so little time for answers. Jessica leaned casually against Cage, her eyes scanning the group with a hint of amusement, while Iron Fist stepped forward and gave a small, respectful bow.
Yuno: Well, it's great to meet you all! This is Iron Heart, Viv, Spider-Man, Ghost Spider, X-23, Nova, Ms. Marvel, and Torunn. Oh! And I'm Yuno, by the way. I kind of don't really have a name yet, hehe.
Iron Fist: It's a pleasure to meet you all. I look forward to working with you.
Cage: Looks like you're finally going to be working with people your own age, kid. I don't think you really need to be so formal about it, plus you already broke a bit earlier.
Iron Fist: Oh, damn...really? Well, in that case...
He then turned back to all of them, flashing a wide smile, and threw up a peace sign.
Iron Fist: Yo dudes, I'm so stocked to kick some serious ass with all of you.
Jessica smacked the back of his head, which just made him smirk, and Cage rolled his eyes. Yuno chuckled at the exchange, feeling more at ease with the Defenders' relaxed attitude. It was as if they were more like a family than an actual team. The rest of his team also seemed to lighten up, the tension from their unexpected appearance dissipating.
Cage: Like Daredevil said, you'll all be helping us tonight. Normally, we can work in a team of four, but there are four rings that need to be dealt with.
Jessica: You guys alright with splitting up?
Laura: Yeah, we're cool with it. Just make sure that idiot has someone to watch over him. He loves going off and getting himself into shit.
She pointed directly at Yuno, who instantly rolled his eyes and crossed his arms, pouting ever so slightly as he looked at her.
Yuno: Ya know, Laura, you can be really mean sometimes. I don't mean to get into stuff. It just sorta...happens.
She just looked at him for a moment before flashing him a playful grin and nudging his side.
