your currently in hospital whilst being investigated and you get a surprise visit from the one and only lucy chen, "hey" you say with a croaky voice as you see and hear her walking in with a get well soon basket "hey
y/n i just thought i'd be the one to come give you the good news that grey just told me considering i wouldn't be able to keep it to myself anyway" she replied whilst lifting the basket onto a chair then she walked over and handed you a glass of water "thank you and what's the good news i'm quite curious since you've just said you wouldn't be able to keep it in" "the good news is that you are assigned mid-wilsher" she says whilst keeping in her excitement like a puppy "okay okay pup calm down i'm taking a couple month leave since you know my TO is no longer here" you say as your about to cry
Lucy runs to your side "hey it's okay you can take a couple months off there's no rush" as she whispers into your shoulder "thank you i will be back just taking time to grieve and become comfortable again" "i understand y/n/n please there's no rush" she says almost looking guilty for bringing it up, you honestly feel quite bad but it's masked by the tears at the line of your eyes you quickly usher her out before they come spilling out.

at that very moment your "new" sargent walks in "im sorry if im interrupting what's going on but my condolences at the very least" "im sorry who are you if you don't mind me asking?" "ah i forgot to introduce myself i'm your new Sargent" he explains "so your Sargent grey?" you inquire "that would be correct i have been informed your taking a couple months of that is understandable but when you come to my station i will have you pair up with a experienced officer just to sharpen you up instead of you going solo her name will be angela lopez" "is it okay if i ask to meet her first just before anything" "that's a reasonable request i'll have her drop in to see you goodbye for now officer y/l/n" "thank you sir and goodbye" as he leaves you contemplate what this angela lopez is going to be like...
