the realisation

as Angela is sitting there she can't help but admire you although you may not look your best to another person at the moment angela only sees you looking your best, "so hey" you chuckle awkwardly "hey y/n/n" she softly laughs back, you could get lost in her eyes and laugh if she would let you but you'd convinced yourself that she didn't reciprocate feelings...

"so y/n i'll need to ask you questions but we can do that later if you want but you can do it now to get it out the way?" she asked "we can do it later i just want to talk with you" and in that moment Angela felt a fuzzy feeling but she still brushed it off as a friendship thing considering you were almost end of life, "of course we can just talk i get told I'm a good listener so lay it on me what do you want to talk about?" "well i can talk about Lucy that's always fun you woudlnt believe the stories i have of her from getting drunk" you laugh and Angela is in awe at your laugh much as you were at hers.
20 minutes later -Lucy walks back,
"hey guys i heard laughing so I'm guessing your both in good moods and the talk went well" she asked grinning ear to ear "we actually talked about your drunk stories" you say laughing "oh god please don't tell me you told her about the handcuff and pipe story" she says knowing 100% that's the first you told "oh the fact you handcuffed a man to a pipe becuase he looked at you funny?" Angela pipes in holding back a smile "for fucks sake y/n i can't leave you anywhere" she nudges her shoulder "shouldn't have done it then" she shrugs.

after awhile of talking Lucy goes home and Angela refuses to move from your side and you fall into a easy conversation, "so that chair looks uncomfortable you should really go home ang cmon" you try pleading "i'll be fine and i'm not leaving your side again" she reasons "fine at least sit up here with me so i know your somewhat comfortable" you plead "i can't do that i don't want to hurt you i'll be fine here y/n" "no you won't now cmon sit here" you pat a spot next to you as you do Angela comes and sits next to you and you resume your position from a couple weeks ago and snuggle into her, her perfume overflowing your nose and a comforting arm wraps around you as you slowly fall asleep.
the next day
"hey sleepy your med rounds are here i let you sleep a little but you need to take them otherwise you'll be in pain" she speaks softly almost surprising herself with how soft, as you groan and push yourself further into angela she slowly lifts you by your hips and tells you to take the meds "but i don't wanna take them i just wanna sleep" you pout almost looking like a toddler "you have to take them y/n if you take them ill let you sleep again now cmon" she says almost beggingly "begging looks good on you" as you swallow the pills winking "don't get used to it" she says with a deep chuckle and almost a blush. after a light conversation you fall back into a deep slumber head resting on angela's shoulder and legs intertwined then lucy walks in and bombards Angela with questions "so how did you get in that position?" she says giving a teasing smirk "she said i looked uncomfortable and persisted i sit next to her because i refused to go home that's all but you tell anyone about this boot and you'll be on toilet wash for the next month" she says giving a glair when they both know that Tim won't allow that but Lucy plays along with a dramatic gasp.

after Lucy had left you slowly come back at lunch "you need to eat y/n come on i'll order some food whatever you like just eat please" "fine at least order tacos or something" you say still sounding like a toddler and as Angela orders them you take your second dose of medicine and your now drowsy "hey ang i love you" you say sloppily barley making sense "y/n your just tired and drugged basically go to sleep i'll wake you when your food arrives" she says sounding a little disappointed but you still sleep and in that moment angela also realises she's in love with you...
