"Well then, here's what I need you to do" The Doctor's voice spoke again. She had decided to repeat her instructions over and over again just in case her voice could counter the Scorchies hypnosis. "I need anyone in Maryland to help with this. If you know anyone in Maryland but you're not there then call them up"

"In song if you please" Mr. Grizzfizzle demanded smugly.

"Excuse me?" The Doctor asked, sounding shocked at the idea.

"You know the rules Doc" Grizzfizzle laughed. "All guests must do three things"

The Doctor sighed. "Tell a story, build a thing, and sing a song"

(Y/n) rolled his eyes as he listened to this through his headphones. He had gone out, as this Doctor had requested previously. He had missed the rest of the instructions when he had gone to search for his portable radio. It was a bit bulky but he could carry it around. He was dragging his sister by the arm as she walked behind him, still hypnotized but seemingly less so now that she could only hear The Scorchies Show through the faint noise of her brother's headphones.

"Exactly" Mr. Grizzfizzle replied as (y/n) walked down his street.

The Doctor sighed. "I've yet to sing with these vocal cords. Guess we're going to see live if I'm any good" she cleared her throat before beginning.

Her voice was rough at first before improving slightly. "Alright... ooh that's bad... ooh that's better~" he could practically hear the smile on her face. "Let's go then, I need you to go search. I need you to search. There's a box, a blue box. The bluest blue" she obviously needed some lessons on songwriting. "I don't know where, I don't know how but it's gone from me now. The Scorchies thought I hadn't realized, but I had realized"

"Blue box?" (Y/n) frowned as he remembered the box from earlier, the one that had been locked.

"Jo was a much better singer than you" Mr. Grizzfizzle muttered after a second.

"That she was" The Doctor was no longer singing. "Alright, the box is big. Says police. Hard to miss really. The Scorchies tried to destroy it but I set it to leave if they attacked it. It's returned to where I last had it before this little adventure. I was at a fair, it was fun. I had one of those giant pretzels"

"It is the same one then" (y/n) realized before starting to run, making his sister move faster even though she was still out of it.

"It'll be locked" The Doctor spoke after a moment of silence. "Just put your mouth up to the lock and say fish fingers and custard. It's an emergency code that'll allow you inside"

"Weird code" (y/n) mumbled as he kept running.

Soon enough they were coming nearer to the park. "Alright, once you're inside-"

"Okay doc, time for you to build a thing" Mr. Grizzfizzle yelled out.

"Oh hush!" The Doctor spoke before finishing her sentence. "Find the lever with the little lightning bolt symbol on it. That's the fast return switch, it'll bring the ship to where it was when the Scorchies scared it off. Once you're here I'll take it from there"

"Got it" (y/n) waited a second to make sure there were no more instructions, he instead just heard The Doctor beginning to build a thing and then start saying her instructions again.

He flipped off the switch and suddenly his sister snapped out of her hypnotized state. "Wait why are we outside?" She asked as she glanced around, still running with her brother.

"Hard to explain!" He replied as he took off his headphones. "World ending, need to get to the park parking lot"

Esther frowned. "That hardly sounds like the best place to go if the world is ending!" She spoke as her brother sped up, forcing her to do the same.
