"𝟯...𝟮...𝟭... 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗪𝗘 𝗔𝗥𝗘 𝗟𝗜𝗩𝗘 𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗥 𝗔𝗧 𝗨𝗔 𝗛𝗜𝗚𝗛!" Kaminari says into the microphone. A while back, a few of the students from the hero course at UA decided it would be fun to start a school wide podcast, and today is their first episode.
"Hello, fellow students and listeners alike," Momo introduces everybody. "Welcome to the very first episode of The UA Hotline - a special podcast where we discuss all thing UA! I am your co-host - Momo Yaoyorozu of Class 1-A, and with me I have..."
"The name is Eijiro Kirishima, happy to be here with my classmates!" Kirishima says enthusiastically.
"I am Tenya Iida, the class rep for 1-A! I promise to do my very best!"
"Hi everyone! This is the gravity girl - Ochako Uraraka! I hope we can have fun together!"
"For I, dear listeners, am Neito Monama, here by popular demand."
"No you're not." Kirishima interjects, and you can hear the eye roll in his voice.
Monama grits his teeth. "Shut up, you 1-A trash." He whispers away from the mic.
"Welllll MY name is Mina Ashido, your pink alien fantasy!"
"And MY name is Nejire Hado, I'm so excited to get to know all of you!" She giggles at the end of her sentence. Despite the cutesy, air head appearance, she is actually a 3rd year.
"I'm Shoji" The multi-armed man says simply.
"And of course, it's your favorite, the baddest and pHattest out of the bunch, it's....can I get a drum roll?" To which the sound crew cues up the noise. "DENKI - BETTER THAN YOUR EX - KAMINARI!"
Momo shakes her head, and Kirishima looks away in embarrassment.
"Too much, dude." He says disapprovingly towards Denki. He huffs in annoyance.
Momo decides now would the time to take the lead once again. "Thank you everyone for those... lovely introductions! For today's first episode, I thought it would be best to keep things casual. Is there anything anyone wants to talk about?"
Nejire's hand instantly shoots, and her eyes are screaming the words "CHOOSE ME RIGHT NOW OR ELSE."
"Nejire, you can speak whenever, no need to raise your hand." Momo says, smiling.
The 3rd year shys away in a cheeky embarrassment. "My bad..."
"ANYWAYS," She continues. "I don't know if I'm supposed to talk about this, but I heard you guys found A GHOST? And brought it to OUR SCHOOL? Isn't that so cute?"
Momo and Kaminari exchange glances, and decide that if they wanted to do damage control on the situation now would be the time to do so. Kaminari motions for Momo to speak first.
"You would be correct, Nejire." Momo says, making Nejire squeal. "Earlier, before myself and my class returned to school from our trip, a few of us encounters a young ghost, who used to attend UA before her passing."
It is now Kaminari's turn to talk. "Uh... well ya! And let me tell you, this girl is so cool. I mean, not as cool as... some other girls I know, but still! And she told us all this stuff about how -" Momo coughs loudly, causing some people to giggle around her, but Kaminari takes it as a signal to leave that part out.
"Anyway... we brought her back to, uh... well obviously to... anyone else wanna take it?" He stumbles.
The rest of Class 1-A students who are present don't pipe up. As much as they think they know about Y/n's situation, there is still a lot of mystery surrounding her. So, they silently decide to play it safe and stay quiet. Lucky for them, Nejire pipes up.
"That's so epic! I cannot WAIT to meet her! Ooo, I wonder if I can braid her hair, you know cause she's a ghost and everything. I love braiding people's hair, especially Eri's. OH MY GOSH, LET'S TALK ABOUT HOW CUTE ERI IS!"
Everyone else slowly starts to add to the conversation. Momo and Denki breath a sigh of relief, thankful to the bubbly 3rd year for saving the episode.
Some time passes, and the group decides to call it quits. They wrap up the podcast, and bid goodbye to each other. Kendo is waiting at the door to make sure Monama doesn't try to assault the Class 1-A kids.
Kaminari and Momo walk side by side, away from the rest of the group. They make some small talk, until they pass by the dreaded principal's office.
"Hey," Kaminari whispers to Momo, letting their classmates pass them by as they stare into the office. "Y/n's in there, with Aizawa right?"
Momo nods, a look of concern falling over her face. She knew of her principals great distain from humans, so maybe ghosts would be an exception? Still, she also knew how logical he was, and she wasn't confident he had the same level of reason that she had in regards to Y/n's situation. She sent a silent prayer for everyone to go smoothly in there.
After a bit, Y/n and Mr. Aizawa appear from the office. The pair rush towards them.
"Y/n!" Kaminari shouts, waving aggressively. "Tell us everything! Aizawa, make her tell us everything!"
"Jeez, Denki," Y/n says "Keep this is up and someone passing by might think you're having a seizure."
"Oh, who cares! SPILL. THAT. TEA. GIRL!" He shouts, and if you weren't a ghost, specs of spit would've flown into your eyes.
Y/n looks to Momo, who also seems eager to hear the results of your conversation.
"Well," You say, trying to put what happened into words. "To put it simply, if I was playing chess, he was playing The Settlers of Catan..."
