Synopsis: Hibaru definitely has a "unique" sense of fashion as everyone claims in the manga. Regardless, Hibaru takes pride in it, especially his hand-made Happi! He would definitely make a matching one for Y/n after some time dating as a gift and would show you off to the world you two are together! As for you...you'd find it a bit embarrassing but that look on his face when he sees you wear something he personally made for you, you just couldn't refuse.

"Surprise!" The buffoon with an "x" shaped scar on his forehead exclaimed with a huge grin on his face holding a rather flat and wide box.

"Hold on-"

you bring your hand up to hold your chin while your gaze fixated on a floor tile "It's not my birthday...nor is it our anniversary.." You mumbled to yourself, meanwhile, the buffoon of a boyfriend of yours tilted his head to the side in confusion before a smile crept up and he let out a whole-hearted laughter that filled the room.

"There's no occasion Y/n! I just felt like it!"

You sigh. "What did you do this time, did you get yourself caught with the Hawk Faction??"

"I-you- what! Of course not! Y/n what do you take me for?? Besides- with an Astro like mine no way any of them would stand a chance against me!"

He crossed his arms holding the box in his right arm, raising his chin with a shit-eating grin visible. You crossed your own arms and raised a brow scanning him up and down for any signs of lying.

Seeing your reaction Hibaru lets out a small sigh before dropping his arms to his side and his expression softens. He puts down the box on a nearby table before facing back to you putting his arms on your shoulders.

"Look...I just thought that...We've been together for a while and I just...I just had the urge to show off you mean a lot through this gift" He turns his head motioning to the box on the table.

"Hibaru...I'm sorry I didn't get you anyth-" You got cut off as Hibaru instantly pulls you into a hug resting his hand on the top of your head and the small of your back, you could hear his heart beat through his warm body.

"I didn't do this so I could get something in return, this relationship isn't something of 'friends with benefits' or any of that shit. It's about me and you...blinded by love, our willingness to sacrifice and do anything for each other..."

He looked down at you with a soft and loving gaze that made your breath hitch and got you all warm and fuzzy inside. A few moments you pulled away and the soft smile on your face then was replaced with a smirk.

"And whose quote is that ?" You chuckle and Hibaru does too a tint of pink on his cheeks as he rubs the back of his neck. "Your one and only~ Hibaru Yotsurugi!" He exclaimed fixing his posture and pointing at himself with his thumb. You smiled before turning your attention to the table on your left where the gift remained.

"What's in the box?" You ask as you reach for it before Hibaru moves it away. "Why don't you guess~" He implied raising his eyebrows showing his wide golden eyes.

"Is it instant ramen again...you do realize that's not considered a gift. That's just shopping.." You said sighing and face palmed yourself. "THAT WAS ONE TIME!...woah why do I feel like I heard something similar before...de ja vu??"
