Mike: 3 encores. THREE. FUCKING ENCORES. I swear if they made us do one more I was gonna collapse before we even got back here.

Peanut: You said this. 40 times. Since we left. Just stop at that point.

Tonight's Backsiders concert was wild. The crowd was on fire, it all sounded great... The problem was, the crowd didn't want to finish it, which led them to ask for a few more songs, which is not the Backsiders' usual thing.

It lasted so long, it was currently 3 in the morning. For the record, they usually finish at midnight.

Spyke and Yukiko had trouble even getting on the train to get home. Thankfully, nobody recognized them in their normal outfits.

Mike: You know what, don't expect me to do anything until at least 1 PM. I'm not getting out of bed before that.

Peanut: Because you think imma do something before that?

Mike: Fair.

Mike turned the keys to the apartment he shared with Peanut, entered, looked around, and without a warning, bolted to his room and slammed the door.

Peanut: ...if it breaks I'm not repairing it. And I do hope it didn't wake up the neighbors...

She closed the entrance door, locked it, made her way to her room, put her guitar on it's stand, and straight up collapsed on her bed.

However, she couldn't close her eyes. her thoughts kept running in her head.

Mostly thoughts about what happened to them recently.

"...if only I could've hit Strike... then Yukiko wouldn't have her tips red... She wouldn't have been in the hospital...
Hell, I even had a clean shot! It would've only took one shot to put him down!"

With a loud exhale, she suddenly felt the fatigue of the previous hours wash over her. She laid on her side, and closed her eyes, drifting off to sleep.

...

She opened her eyes in a strange place. At the moment, if she could've described the place in one word, it would've been "pink".

Everything around her seemed wavy, in a way. Plus, while it looked like she was in open air, she knew that it was closed off. The walls were just transparent.

Peanut: What the fuck... I did not take any substances though...

Looking around her, she found a hole in one of the walls. It seemed to lead somewhere, and seeing she had no other choice, she decided to see where it lead.

Soon enough, she found an intersection.

Peanut: I don't like this...

She took the left path, and quickly found herself in a dead end.

Peanut: Oh coddammit... It's a labyrinth isn't it.

She backtracked and took the other path, only to be soon met with another intersection.

Peanut: ...shit. It's one.

It took her a long time to find her way out of this small maze. And sometimes, she couldn't shake the feeling that it was moving on it's own accord, with walls feeling like shifting out of place and reappearing in other places.

However, a few minutes later (at least, that's what she thinks, seeing she has no knowledge of the real time), she managed to get out of it...

And found Mike, Yukiko and Spyke, all emerging at the same time from their respective labyrinths.
