The room was dimly lit, the fading light of evening casting a soft glow through the curtains. I slowly blinked awake, feeling the warmth of Dhruv's body against mine. My chest felt heavier than usual and as I looked down, I saw his head resting near my chest.

The last thing I remembered was Dhruv lying with his head on my lap, my fingers gently running through his hair as he drifted off to sleep. How did we end up like this? I smiled softly, feeling a sense of warmth spread through me at the sight of him so close.

Dhruv's arms were wrapped tightly around me, and his legs were sprawled over mine, leaving me little room to move. I didn't mind though. The comfort of his touch, the closeness of his body was soothing. I studied his face, noticing that the deep frown lines that had marred his features yesterday were gone.

I lifted a hand and gently ruffled his hair, running my fingers through the dark strands. His eyelids fluttered, and a moment later, his eyes slowly opened. He blinked a few times, disoriented, before looking up at me.

"Good evening," I whispered.

He stayed quiet for a minute, his gaze locked on mine, as if he was trying to anchor himself in reality. "What's the time?" He asked, his voice husky with sleep.

"It's evening," I replied softly, brushing a stray lock of hair from his forehead.

He sighed deeply, a mix of relief and resignation evident in his tone. "Evening, really?"

I nodded, watching him closely. "How's your headache?"

He shifted slightly, adjusting his position but still keeping his arms around me. "Better, I think," He said after a pause. "Thanks to you."

I shifted slightly, trying to sit up, but Dhruv's grip tightened around me. His eyes were still soft with sleep and he looked up at me with a silent plea.

"Stay," He murmured, his voice barely audible. "Don't leave."

I smiled gently, cupping his cheek. "I'm not leaving, Dhruv. Just trying to get up for a bit."

He seemed to relax a little but didn't loosen his hold on me. "Have you had lunch?" I asked, suddenly realizing how long it had been since either of us ate.

He hesitated, avoiding my gaze. "Uh..."

I raised an eyebrow. "Dhruv..."

He sighed, his shoulders slumping slightly. "No, I didn't."
