Sabrina's POV
Right now, I'm glad that Alice and Noah are safe with Natascha and her family for the night, because I was kind of... in trouble.
I feel like I'm not running with the Greywood pack, rather, I'm being nipped at and growled at to stay centred, in the middle. Warning after warning.
Erebon runs behind me, keeping an eye on my wagging tail, as my omega is small but quick, running surrounded by the gang of Sub-Alphas.
They've only nipped and growled if I've tried to break formation, I've tried many times to get out of the middle, but they're not having it.
"Can – can I just – can I – but can I – just –" I huff and pant at all of them, pathetically begging as I run with them, trying to manoeuvre between their legs unsuccessfully.
"Back in line," Quillon growls loudly.
"Move back, omega!" Sascha bares his teeth and I knock into Zoran, who pushes me back into the middle, then I slow down and Erebon has had enough of my floundering and pounces over me, knocking me to the ground.
My omega turns onto her back, paws floppy as I breathe hard and try to look cute and innocent as he glares over me. The pack stop mid-run to circle around, disciplining me.
This was pack placement.
Oh, this was always embarrassing to experience as an omega, especially as pups who played this kind of game.
But this wasn't pretend, this was the real deal, and I was getting my furry butt handed to me.
Erebon smacks his paw into the dirt by my floppy ear, stamping the dirt in frustration, "Stop trying to break the formation... omega, you stay centred now! Where we can see you! Between our flanks! Do you understand me, little wolf?" his Alpha bares his teeth next to my nose as my omega bares hers back, starting to wriggle beneath him.
"I can, I will, I will listen," I whine and Erebon weighs down on me, glaring into my soul as his gold chain touches my neck.
"Up," Erebon snaps and pounces off me. His giant wolf stalks around me as I jump up to all fours, cowering from all the Alphas trotting around, glaring with an intimidating pack love.
"What did I do?" I whine uncontrollably before I attempt to run and they all snarl, so I don't run. My omega backs up instead, shuffling back, shivering, quivering and whimpering.
"Sabrina," Erebon snaps and then his eyes look up as I feel a heated shadow come over me.
My omega nervously glances up and back to see Orpheus standing over the top of me, his black fur puffed and shivering with irritation at my lack of learning.
"Omega!" he snarls and I roll onto my back, "...on your paws..." I roll again and tremble on my four paws, ears bent back as I look up at Orpheus' for approval.
"W-what, what!" I bark, "What – did –"
"Don't even try acting innocent," Orpheus barks over the top of me, "You disobeyed a Royal command! You left the pack without permission!"
The Alphas all snarl and stamp in agreement.
Erebon snaps his fangs together, bristling. I'm not sure if he is angry with them or angry at Orpheus being over me.
Orpheus leans down, knocks his forehead to mine, looking right into my wolf-eyes.
"We love you, idiot," Orpheus growls, "Omega. We are your pack now. Your family. Submit to your Royal Alphas!"
