Luke's POV
"So guys, my mum has invited you lot over for a barbeque tomorrow if you're around?" Mikey asked us.
"Sure!" I smiled.
"Sounds fun," Calum said, not taking his eyes off the screen.
"Oh, can I bring Kirsty?" Ashton asked looking away from the game.
"Sure, bring your families too." Michael laughed.

"I'm nervous about tomorrow" I whispered to Michael as we cuddled in my bed.
"Same," I said, turning to face him. "But I'm excited too,"
"Me too" he laughed, kissing me gently. "You know why?" He teased.
"Because they can't not be happy!"
I laughed and we smiled, our eyes locked. That's when the nerves went away, it was Mikey.

~The next day~

I knocked on the door of the Clifford's house and almost immediately after the door opened to reveal Karen, Michael's mum. My mum and dad went off with Karen leaving me to find Michael. It wasn't hard as he was in has man cave, as always. I sat down next to him "hey" I said to alert him of my presence as he was oblivious to me. "Oh hey babe" he said pausing the game he was playing "i didn't see you there" added pulling me into a passionate kiss before I was able to say anything. I kissed back, Michaels tongue begged for entrance to my mouth, I accepted, letting the kiss go deeper. When we finally broke apart I giggled nervously and cuddled up to him.

Calum and Ashton joined us about ten minuets later and joined our Fifa match and we played for a while until Michael's mum came to tell us that the food was ready. Calum and ash raced off while I hung back would Michael, "are we going to tell them?" I asked "its now or never" he replied and we went outside and joined everyone and got ourselves some food. Michael looked at me and I nodded signalling that it was time. Michael coughed a few times to try and get people's attentions, "um errr me and Luke would l-like to tell you all something" he said over the voices which we lowly dying down "me and um l-Luke are t-together" he said as I stared at my shoes to avoid eye contact. There we a few gasps but it was hard to tell if they were just surprised gasps or bad gasps. "I know this might me a bit of a shock to you all as you thought we were both straight but it would be amazing if you could just accept us and treat us normally" Michael said stumbling over his words. "Of Course we accepted you, you're our children" My mum said running over and embracing us both "I don't care who you love as long as you're happy" she said and others joined in saying that it didn't matter who we loved. A sense of relief rushed through my body, I couldn't be happier. "Also I knew luke always had a thing for you Michael" Mum said quietly
"Oh my god mum you're so embarrassing" I said turning scarlet. She laughed and people started eating again, asking us questions and congratulating us. Before long everything was back to normal. I got up to go to get salad and Michael followed me. We didn't say anything, just looked at each other and smiled.
