Chapter 69: Well F*** me.

Rose POV.
I knew it was dangerous to go after Robert but I had to keep my family save. If I didn't stop him he would come after me for the rest of my live. He needed to be stopped. Now that Tasha is put away there's nothing stopping him from going after my daughter he told me. So I could experience the same lose he felt for me takin his brother away.

We entered the location the lead tolled us to. It was a mansion in the Daskov's name. It appeared to be a summer house of sorts. There was only supposed to be him. All was quiet around and into the house. It was night time by now. As we entered a room witch appeared to be a library we saw Robert sitting in front of a fire place with a brandy reading a book. It was giving me the creeps as how quiet everything was. Robert didn't even look up as me and the Alpha's walked in.

"Good evening Rosemarie I was expecting you." And with a flick of his hand the doors behind us closed trapping us in the library. I was with one pair of guards while the other two pairs were checking the other rooms. Then another door and the room opened up and 10 Strigoi came out. Always remembering my second lesson don't hesitate I lunged forward as the others followed. Strike, kick, duck, swing, punch. Most were new and there fighting skills were uncontrolled like foot - soldiers. There were also some old ones. As I fought them sudden images flashes before my eyes. The academy battle, Galina's minions, the two that got away in Russia. These were all Strigoi I dealt with in one form or another. They had conspired and collected there forces to come after me and Robert was the conductor in all this. Robert really hated me that much that he would raise an army of Strigoi. We got rid of about 25 Strigoi by now and Robert was still in his chair swivelling his brandy. 

The remaining Strigoi were agitated and he hissed. "Master, you have to help end this." Robert let out a sigh like he was bored. "Fine....." withe a flick of his wrist the doors opens again and a barrier stops the guards come towards me. 15 Strigoi encircled me. Me and the guards were al bloody and bruised and terribly out numbered. We should cut our losses and retreat but I could not. I was blocked from the exit. I could let me guards die for me. But o wasn't going down without a fight. "Alpha retreat." They didn't budge. "No ma'am." They would really risk there live for one Dhampir. Idiots. "Retreat that's and order. There is no way to get to me. Report back to court and get back up."

Reluctantly they stepped back. I saw the others pass by. One of them was being supported by his partner and one was flung over the shoulder of her partner. We were terribly outnumbered but the Strigoi are letting them go. Robert must have a considerable amount of control over them.
I fought hard and fast. I wasn't going down without a fight and 6 Strigoi found out of was bad ass. The other 9 were too much. They were much older and stronger. I was tired so, so tired. I could sleep for days. One of the wrapped his arm around my neck and before I got out I felt the fangs pears my neck and my knees weakend. That amazing kick flew through me. Then another bit me. It's been so long since that sweet wave of pleasure filled me. I only wish it was Dimitri. What? Rose snap out of it. This isn't good. Another bite. Oh sweet ocean of pretty colours. Rose wake up. If they keep biting you will be in a constant state of high. But I couldn't do anything. Thy all had a turn. And I was lying on the floor unable to move as my body was paralysed by the endorphins. Robert appeared over me with a smug face. "Kind of a rush isn't it." He folded his arms over his chest. "Put her on the plane." That's when I lost consciousness. 

When I woke I found myself chained to a wall in one of Robert's lovely torture chambers. I woke so see some others hanging around the room. All covered in bite marks and most appears to be human. One however could be Dhampir but I wasn't sure. "Where am I?" I croaked. "Russia. " A raspy voice responded. The door opened and the others cringed at the sound. They were scared beyond fear. I lifted my head to see Robert with two Strigoi goons. "Alright my dear. Now that Tasha is out of the mix I have a free hand in what to do with you." He said with a devilish grin. "You have quite the enemies around here and so my enemies enemy us my friend." Crazy chock. "So Rosemarie this is you schedule for you visit with us. You will train my Strigoi friends and if the land a good hit on you the get a present. They can drink from you but not kill you. I will watch and occasionally heal you if I fancy." He was talking to me like it was a cup of tea with a friend. He is of his rocker.

"What about them." I nodded towards my neighbour. "That's food for the Strigoi nothing more." He said like they were a packed of crisps.
How am I the one who always gets in these kind of f*****up situations.
