"Zankoku Training Centre is a place where kids can learn to embrace their inner fight"

Yeah, that's one way to put it...

ZTC was managed by a man called Ichiro Zankoku, who was a ruthless boss. Although it was a 'training centre', it felt like prison. There was people of all ages, ranging from 6 to 40, it was a place where you could drop your kid or go there yourself for a couple weeks, but it also was home to kids all their childhood who had parents that abandoned them.

And it was my childhood for 11 years.

As trainees, we ran on a strict schedule everyday to become the best agents we could be.

6:00 am: Wake up and get ready for training

6:30 am: Exercise and fitness training

7:00 am: Shower, breakfast, free time

8:30 am: Lessons, English, Maths, Science, etc.

11:00 am: Break

11:30 pm: More lessons

2:00 pm: Lunch

3:00 pm: Target practise

3:30 pm: Combat training

5:00 pm: Sparring

6:00 pm: Weapon training (Bow and arrow, mace, knife, etc.)

7:00 pm: Dinner

8:00 pm: Fighting smarts classes (we were learned the best ways to master sneaking into heavily guarded areas, and where the weakest points of the body were, the best places to strike or penetrate to leave someone immobilized, all shit like that.)

9:00 pm: Library time (we pretty much all gotta go to the library and read books to raise intelligence, so fun....)

9:30: Free time

10:30: Curfew

And there ya go folks, that was the schedule for my year, but it differs slightly for anyone under 10 years old or over 18.

ZTC also had a set of rules in place, that had to always be followed or else you would faced with punishment, it could be a slap across the face or arm, or something more intense, depending on what rule you've broken.

The rules were:

1. No contact with anyone outside of the centre without permission from Zankoku.

2. No mobile phones or devices, they will be gifted to you when/if you choose to graduate.

3. Do not talk back to mentors, they have permission to inflict minimal physical harm if needed.

4. Capture weapons are only to be used in the designated areas.

5. Rooms must be up to standards - there are weekly room inspections.

6. No quirks are to be activated unless Zankoku has given permission, NO EXCEPTIONS.

These were the rules everyone abided by, until one day...

At the time, I had no quirk. Everyone thought I was quirkless...until one day that changed my life.

I had been 7 at the time, so I was allowed to go to my friends rooms at free time, and it was where I was headed, until a group of boys, 3 of them all around 10 years old came up to me.

These boys had been on my case recently, they liked to annoy me and ask me questions they already knew the answer to. Their most asked question was probably-
