Y/n POV:

It was around 9AM before I boarded the boat to Osaka. There were a few clouds in the sky, but thankfully it wasn't raining, and there was about 40 other passengers on the boat with me. While I was standing on the deck, leaning on the railing and looking out at the water, a crew member stopped and cleared his throat.

"Ehem, excuse me miss, could I get you anything to drink?" he asked.

"Oh, um....could I get some coffee?"

He nodded his head and walked off into the inside part of the boat, presumably into the kitchen or something and after a couple of minutes, he brought me my coffee. I paid and thanked him before taking a sip, how I love coffee.

Soon the boat reached Osaka, and I got off, looking for signs to point the way of the train station. When I spotted one with a picture of a train and an arrow pointing left I followed it, and within 10 minutes I had gotten to the station.

After showing the guard my ticket, I walked through the gates and searched for my platform, but I couldn't see it so I had to ask the lady at the customer service desk for help. She pointed me in the right direction and sure enough the closer I got the easier it was to see the number 7 platform.

I checked out the destination board to make sure everything was on schedule before sitting down on a nearby bench and waiting. Around 11:00, the train came and everyone boarded, taking their designated seats. No one seemed to be in the seat beside me, which was fine by me because I didn't feel like talking to strangers today.

The rest of the ride went peacefully, I was ordered lunch at 12:30 (ramen obviously), and the train stopped just outside Musutafu at 2:00 PM, just as I had hoped.

I hopped on a bus to get to a cafe nearby, which I learnt was called the Black Cat Cafe. The bus let me off only a block away from it, so I kept walking until I was face to face with the cafe, and sure enough right beside it was a two story building, with one apartment on the top and one on the bottom.

I looked at my keys, mine was the top, internally pumping my fist in the air.

Let's actually go

As soon as I stepped inside, I was blown away at how nice it was on the inside compared to the exterior. The floor was made of light brown wooden planks, there was a living room with a TV and couch, and beside it was table with chairs, and a kitchen and cabinets to store cutlery and food.

Although it looked a bit shabby on the outside, it was actually decent.

There was a door that led into the bedroom, it was a simple bed with a bedside table and a lampshade, with a small bathroom and closet. The bathroom just had a toilet, sink and small shower - nothing special.

I didn't have a lot to unpack, so I decided to make sure everything worked properly. There was food in the cabinets and fridge already, so it saved me the trouble of going out and getting anything. I only had 2 pairs of t shirts, and 2 pairs of tracksuit bottoms, both of which were hanging up in the closet. They were either white or black, because that's the only casual clothes I had.

After getting myself organized, I looked around and sighed.

It may not be big, but it's nice and it's mine.

(sorry for short chapter...I'm just so excited to get to the exams chapter)
