𝕊𝕠𝕟𝕘 𝕣𝕖𝕔𝕠𝕞𝕞𝕖𝕟𝕕𝕒𝕥𝕚𝕠𝕟: 𝕊&𝕄 - ℝ𝕚𝕙𝕒𝕟𝕟𝕒

Everyone was standing around, waiting for an announcement to start.

I pulled out my phone.

10:01 am

Something wasn't right, this place doesn't seem like the type to run late. I was looking around, everyone seemed to be focused on the green haired kid, saying something about luck.

While everyone's eyes were on him the doors had opened, then out of the corner of my eye, I saw Present Mic, waiting for something. Then it hit me:

We've already started, haven't we?

I pocketed my phone, making sure it wouldn't fall out before starting to run. Of course they wouldn't give us a countdown, you don't get a '1 2 3 GO' in real life situations.

"OKAY START!"

I heard him shout from the tower, at this stage I was already through the doors, keeping my eyes and ears out for any robots. Behind me I could see everyone standing there, confused.

"THERE ARE NO COUNTDOWNS IN REAL LIFE, SHE'S GOT THE RIGHT IDEA" he gestured to me.

Great thanks for that...just love everyone looking at me....

"RUN RUN RUN LISTENERS, YOU'RE WASTING AIR TIME HERE"

I could feel the ground shake as a torpedo of footsteps came hurling forward. I knew there was people who were faster than me, so the head start helped a lot. My running came to a halt as I was face to face with a two pointer.

It's time to shine.

You can do this.

Just take a deep breath

And remember what you were taught.

The chains on my wrists started becoming lighter and looser, floating around my body as I exhaled. I shoved my right hand forward, guiding the chains as they pierced the robot right through the middle, then yanked my hand back, bringing the chain along with it and crushing the robot.

I had never felt more alive.

I ran through the arena, seizing every chance I had to destroy the robots. I came across a few 3 pointers, several 1 pointers and a couple 2 pointers, but no zero pointer. Well not like I was complaining, no use fighting it anyway.

"FIVE MINUTES LEFT!!!"

Okay, not too bad

I wanted to keep going but I knew that I was already being risky, using professional skills to take down robots with little to no effort, such performance was not of the likes of a middle school kid trying to get into to hero school.

Laying low is probably a good idea

I was considering just doing a few laps around the arena, acting like there was no more robots to destroy and pretending to look for some-

Crash

Suddenly I sprinted out of an alleyway to see a bunch of explosions and huge robot in the centre, many of the other examinees we're frozen in their tracks, gawking at it.

Ok so laying low was a good idea.

The robot leaned forward and punched the ground, making it shake and break apart, the strong wind knocking people over, I ducked behind a building just before it reached me. This thing was huge and strong.
