In the core of my heart, your initial engraved,
A bond so strong, a love so brave.
You were my dawn, my day, my night,
In your absence, nothing feels quite right.I long for a path where we could mend,
Where growth and maturity could blend.
Though they say it wasn't meant to be,
I struggle to set my heart free.Your tears once fell for me, so true,
Yet betrayal stained the love we knew.
Blame weighs heavy, though it's not mine to bear,
I resist labeling you with despair.I used to blame myself, a burden so heavy,
For faults not mine, feeling unsteady.
Yet, I refuse to see you as a villain,
Or be mad at you, just for healin'.Letting go seems an impossible task,
In this tangled web of questions I ask.
The heart wants what it wants, I find,
Even when reason seems left behind.
