"I'll just come back another time." Carter spoke.
"You know, I don't blame you for anything."
"It's fine. I won't bring Taylor around."
"Why? It's not a problem."
He came closer to me.
"I know you really do like Shawn."
I froze in place.
"I heard how he said he doesn't really love you.. I know this relationship of yours is one sided." He pat my back. "Go get 'em!"
I heard the door slam.
I walked to the center room that welcomes to many hallways and stairs.
Taylor stood by the door.
"He doesn't want me okay, Carter!"
I mentally laughed,
at the same time thought of me.
We were on the same boat.
Shawn wants none of us.
"It's okay dude."
I closed my house door.
"Stay longer if you'd like."
Inviting Taylor and Carter over longer may be the worse decision I've ever made.
Shawn deserves it.
Playing me just to make his ex jealous.
