From the side of my eye,

I see Shawn gazing at me.

Not the sunrise but me.

I do feel odd and insecure.

"What are you smiling at?" I ask him pulling his bedsheets to my face.

"Never noticed you before. Like I never saw what type of person you are. I still don't completely know."

It made me flutter inside.

Yet, it proves that he doesn't look at me the way I look at him- at least until now.

"Hang out here a little longer." He asked.

"Or we can go get some real breakfast."

He accepted my suggestion before kicking me out of his room to get ready.

Should I call this a date?
