To The Stars

Never believed in love at first sight
Until I saw your eyes twinkling so bright
I was smitten, captivated, instantly in love
Too good to be true, my angel from above

Falling for you, was too easy for me
It was a matter of seconds, two or three
I knew it was meant to happen, written in the stars
I'm sure in past lives I would've fought for you in wars

For when we first met, it didn't seem new
As if I had known you for lifetimes, quite a few
It was rather obvious that you felt the same way
It showed in your eyes darling, you didn't have to say

So let me take your hand and let us run away
I want to spend my life with you, every single day
Where to from here, if you may ponder
To the stars my dear, my starlight wonder
