In a world where people born with superpowers, known as "armni," are hunted and tested on, Seok Eunseok stood as a beacon of defiance. Now, Eunseok's mission was clear: avenge his mother and dismantle the oppressive regime.
Eunseok was not alone in his quest. His team consisted of Jung Sungchan, the Mastermind; Park Wonbin, the Sniper; and Lee Sohee, the Brains. Together, they formed a formidable force, each bringing unique skills to the table. Eunseok, the Assassin, was the spearhead of their operations, his illusions creating chaos and fear among their enemies.

Eunseok crouched on the rooftop, his dark clothing blending seamlessly with the night. Below him, the armni government facility buzzed with activity. It was their target tonight.
"Ready?" Sungchan's voice crackled through the earpiece.
"Always," Eunseok replied, his voice steady despite the adrenaline coursing through his veins.
"Wonbin, take out the guards at the main entrance," Sungchan ordered.
A few seconds later, two silenced shots rang out, and the guards crumpled to the ground. Eunseok smirked. Wonbin never missed.
"Sohee, you're up," Sungchan said.
Inside the facility, Sohee hacked into the security system, his fingers flying across the keyboard. "I'm in. Cameras are looped, and doors are unlocked. Go."
Eunseok descended the fire escape, slipping into the building through a side door. He moved like a shadow, his footsteps silent on the tiled floor. As he approached the main lab, he activated his power, projecting hallucinations of armed intruders to distract the guards.
Chaos erupted as the guards scrambled to respond to the phantom threat. Eunseok slipped past them, his eyes fixed on the lab door. He entered the lab and found the head scientist, a man responsible for countless armni experiments, hunched over his work.
"Eunseok," the scientist whispered, recognizing him immediately.
"Time to pay for what you've done," Eunseok said coldly, his two machetes gleaming under the fluorescent lights.
Before he could strike, a sharp pain shot through his neck. His vision blurred, and he collapsed to the floor. The last thing he saw was the smug smile on the scientist's face.

Eunseok awoke in a dimly lit room, his hands bound and his head pounding. He struggled against the restraints, but they held firm.
"You're awake," a voice said from the shadows.
Eunseok squinted, trying to make out the figure approaching him. "Who the fuck are you?"
The man stepped into the light, revealing a handsome face framed by tousled brown hair. "Osaki Shotaro. I'm here to make sure you don't cause any more trouble."
"Hero, my ass," Eunseok spat. "You're just another pawn of the government."
Shotaro chuckled. "Maybe. But unlike you, I actually believe in protecting people."
