Wonbin sat on the couch, his hands resting on his swollen belly. He was six months pregnant with twin girls, and the pregnancy had been both a blessing and a challenge. His husband, Anton, was a top lawyer for the prestigious SM law firm, and his work often kept him away from home. Lately, it seemed as if Anton was spending more time at the office and less time with him and their soon-to-arrive daughters.
Wonbin sighed, feeling a mixture of love and frustration. He knew Anton was working hard to provide for their family, but he couldn't help but feel lonely. The apartment felt emptier without Anton's presence, and the once lively conversations and shared moments had dwindled to quick goodbyes in the morning and late-night hellos.
As he sat there, lost in thought, the door opened, and Anton walked in, looking exhausted but still impeccably dressed in his tailored suit. His tie was slightly askew, and his hair was tousled from a long day at the office.
"Hey," Anton said, dropping his briefcase by the door. He walked over to Wonbin and kissed him on the forehead. "How are you feeling?"
"Okay," Wonbin replied, forcing a smile. "How was your day?"
"Busy, as always," Anton said, sitting down beside him. "But I'm here now. Anything exciting happen today?"
Wonbin shook his head. "Not really. Just the usual."
Anton nodded, but his eyes were already drifting to his phone, which had started buzzing with messages. Wonbin felt a pang of disappointment. He wanted to tell Anton about the baby kicks he felt today, about the nursery he had started setting up, but he knew Anton's mind was elsewhere.
"I'm going to take a shower," Anton said, getting up and heading to the bathroom.
Wonbin watched him go, feeling the distance between them grow with each passing day. He sighed again, rubbing his belly gently. "It's just us girls," he whispered to the twins. "But don't worry, your dad loves you. He's just... busy."

The next morning, as Anton was getting ready for work, Wonbin decided he needed to talk to him. He couldn't keep feeling this way, and he knew they needed to reconnect before the babies arrived.
"Anton," Wonbin began, his voice tentative.
Anton looked up from his phone. "Yes?"
"We need to talk," Wonbin said, trying to keep his tone calm. "I know you're busy with work, but I feel like we're drifting apart. I miss you. I miss us."
Anton's expression softened. He put down his phone and walked over to Wonbin, taking his hands in his. "I know, and I'm sorry. I've been so focused on work, but you and the babies are my priority. I promise I'll make more time for you."
Wonbin nodded, feeling a glimmer of hope. "I just want us to be close again. Especially with the babies coming."
Anton squeezed his hands. "I understand. How about this? Let's have a date night tomorrow. Just you and me. We'll go out, have a nice dinner, and spend some quality time together."
Wonbin's face lit up. "Really?"
"Really," Anton said, smiling. "I'll make the reservations. You just relax and let me take care of everything."

The next evening, Anton came home earlier than usual, a bouquet of flowers in hand. "For you," he said, handing them to Wonbin with a smile.
