His thumb brushes over the sensitive skin behind my ear and I can't help myself now. I press my head further into his hand and hum quietly at the sensation. Xaden's eyes slowly tick over my face, settling at my parted lips trying to let me breath in this suffocating night air. The gold in his burns, almost red with the heat he looks at me with. He pulls me toward him, just slightly, raising my head and making me light on my feet, moving his own face toward me only a little bit. Then, suddenly, he lets go, dropping me back to my full weight and taking a full step back.
"Damn it," he huffs as his head sets back. "Touching you was a bad idea."
"Truly terrible," I agree, already feeling my knees pressing into each other to provide some support in case my muscles go weak. I pull my bottom lip into my mouth and bite onto it to try to expel some of the rising energy inside of me.
Xaden groans, letting his head fall back even further but not taking his eyes off of me or my mouth for more than a second. That definitely has my muscles weakening as my core burns.
"Kissing you would be cataclysmic mistake." I nod slowly as I contol my heavy breaths.
"Ruinous," I offer. But I don't mean it. I want to hear him do that again, probably forever.
"We'll both regret it." He shakes his head, but the hunger in his eyes is only growing as he picks his head up finally and stares down at me.
"Naturally," I whisper. Maybe I will, maybe I won't, but that's not really my problem right now. I'll deal with that later.
He stares for a moment longer as his breathing picks up before there's a tiny scrunch of his nose. "Fuck it."In a moment's notice, my head is back in his hands, being violently tugged toward him. His mouth crashes into mine, scolding hot against my lips, insistent, ravenous. He steps forward, pushing my head back with his as his legs collide with mine and I stutter back until I'm pressed into the stone wall behind me that slopes just slightly away from us as it stretches up into the sky.
My hands slide up his stomach, tracing over every ridge until gripping onto the only loose part of his shirt just under his chest. I tug him closer and he obeys. His fingers slide further back on my head, sifting through the hair at the base of my neck. His hand tenses and he pulls my head back, angling the kiss deeper. I can't help how my lips part and drink him in, letting him slide his tongue along the senstive ridges on the side of mine.
He tastes like the sweet hint of churam and perfectly cooked char. He tastes like chocolate cake and the mountainside and everything I should run from, but I only want him closer. I bite into his lower lip as my right knee raises to slide my skin over his leather pants.
"(N/N)," he moans against my lips as I scrape my teeth across his skin. He kisses me even harder, pressing my head into the rock. I lift my knee fully to let it rest on the overlapping layer of his jacket and pantline. I relish in the feeling of his hips against the inside of my exposed thigh and angle my leg to press him closer into me.
I have never felt so good. I have never felt this desired. His kiss is as hungry as I feel as his tongue explores my mouth, sweeping against the inside of my teeth. His right hand slides down my neck and I hum into his mouth before his fingers move over my shoulder and trace down my side. His thumb presses into my skin and makes me shiver as he leans closer, putting his weight against me and me against this jagged rock.
But the rock doesn't matter, not at all, not when his palm pushes my hip back into the wall. And especially not as his hand reaches under, brushing over the space between my upper thigh and lower ass.
