After talking to Chanyeon over the past week, and getting to know him a bit better. He finally asked you out on a date. You were extremely nervous about it. You were that type of person that no one asked out, that everyone avoided all because you wore an implant to help you hear better. But when you told him about your hearing problems he assured you that it was fine that he started to lose his hearing when he was 11 years old. You can still remember how nervous he was when he asked me out.

We were on Facetime, signing to each other since you were taking a hearing aid break. You just finished telling him a funny story about how you threw a plastic pizza slice at your cousin and how it hit her in the head, and that it got you sent home for "bad behavior".

He started to get nervous looking and was looking everywhere else rather than at you.

"So I have a serious question, and I'm a little nervous to ask cause I'm not sure how it will go but would you like to go out on a date with me tomorrow night?" Chanyeon asked you nervously while playing with a rubber ball in his hands. He looked so scared about what your response was going to be. You were in shock from the question due to never being asked out.

"I would like that. By the way, I have never been on a real date before so I'm not too sure on what to do or wear." You signed to him while looking down at your nightstand that your phone was propped up on. You didn't even see his head pop up to look at you all wide-eyed like you just told him something crazy.

"What do you mean you've never been on a date?" He suddenly asked while getting close to the phone that was propped up on the table. The sudden movement made his phone fall backwards and made the glass of water his phone was propped up on, tilt over and make a mess everywhere. He started to panic while trying to clean it up as quickly as he could so it hopefully doesn't get anywhere else but on the table.

You were just sitting there silently laughing while clapping your hands. You were laughing so hard you fell off of your bed onto the floor, where you covered your face with your hands out of embarrassment. That was the highlight of the entire night.

You suddenly hear your phone ding, signaling that you received a text. Only for it to be Chanyeon telling you that he was downstairs waiting. You replied letting him know that you would be down in a moment. You went over to your front door to pull your black tennis shoes on, and before you went out the door you did a quick fit check in the mirror. Since he was taking you to the Han River, you decided to dress comfy in a black and white striped long sleeve, and a pair of black pants. You made sure that you had everything before you headed out the door.

Once you got down to the lobby, you saw Chanyeon, rocking back and forth on his feet, looking around nervously. His eyes met yours and you saw them light up at the presence of you.

"Sorry I'm late, I was having trouble putting my shoes on," You told him quietly while quickly looking him over. He was wearing a white short-sleeved shirt, with a pair of dark blue jeans, topped off with his black and white Converse that has seen better days. Overall he looked really good.

"No worries, I wasn't waiting too long. You look pretty, by the way, very comfy looking." He told you while opening the door so you could go out first then he followed you out after. You murmured a quiet "Thank you" to him in response to him opening the door up.

It was quiet for a few minutes while we walked to the river, not a bad silence but a peaceful one. We were enjoying each other's presence. After a bit of walking, we got to the river and decided to sit on the swings to watch the sunset and get to know each other a bit more.

After sitting there for a few moments, you finally got the courage to speak up, to get to know him a bit better.

"What do you like to do when you don't have work at the hospital? Like do you have hobbies? Sorry if it's a weird question, you don't have to answer. I was trying to get rid of the silence." You hurriedly told him while waving your hands back and forth. He just laughed and looked at you to answer the question.

"Well, I like to sing and play the guitar. The day I met you, I ran into a couple of people by accident while I was doing my rounds at the hospital. We started talking and they informed me about a project to help spread hope and awareness about sign language. They called it "Big Ocean." I have a chance to go and speak to the CEO of an entertainment company. I just don't know if I should do it" He told you while reaching out to hold your hand.

You just looked at him in disbelief at being asked to be in a band. You started to get nervous, and he could tell by the way your hand was unconsciously tightening up. Chanyeon took his other hand and rubbed his thumb over your fingers to help loosen them up.

You finally could speak and ask him what he was planning on doing. You looked to the right to see him already looking at you with a cute pout at you not replying yet. You just started spouting out questions, your anxiety was kicking in and you could barely even think anymore.

"Are you going to go for it? What happens if you debut? Will we still be able to go out in public?" You kept firing out questions, your mind in an anxiety spiral at everything that could happen. Your eyes were wide-open staring straight at the river, not able to see his panicking face staring at you. He stood up, grabbed your arms to pull you up, and wrapped his arms around you in a warm hug. You were finally able to get out of your head, only to turn slightly red at the sudden affection he showed. You hesitantly wrapped your arms around his neck and laid your head on his shoulder, loving how well your bodies fit together. Almost like the two of you were made for each other.

"You won't have to worry about that." He told you quietly, "I will still make you a priority, we will still be able to go out in public, and if I happen to debut which I'm not sure as I haven't even made a decision yet; we will cross that bridge together when the time comes.

You took a couple of deep breaths and all you smelled was his cinnamon scent, and that made you smile and close your eyes, trying to enjoy the moment. After a few minutes, when he felt your heart slow down, and felt you relax, he let go of the hug only to hold onto your shoulders and bent down a bit due to your cursed shortness to look at you dead in the eyes. Only for him to make you blush harder than ever due to what he says.

"How about we pick up some takeout, go back to one of our places, and enjoy our night together?" He quietly asked you all while not breaking eye contact, all you could do was stare wide-eyed and nod your head in response to his question. He just smiled and stood back up to let your shoulders go.

"Well let's get going. I don't know about you but I am starving." He said while looking at your shocked face. He grabbed your hand and started pulling you in a direction forcing you to snap out of the dazed look you had. You rushed forward and grabbed his hand after he pulled it away. You just wrapped your right arm around his left arm and hugged it close to your body refusing to look at him. He just looked forward and as we were walking, we continued to get to know each other.
