Hyunjin gets protective (Edited)

It was late at night by the time you were leaving the BigHit building to head home to spend a little bit of time with Hyunjin. As you were walking out of the building you were looking down at your phone to send a text to him letting him know you were leaving and that you would be home soon. As you were doing this, you failed to see a dark shadow come out from one of the columns and started to follow you.

After walking for about 5 minutes you kept feeling something was off. That something was following you. You stopped for a moment under a street light and turned back only to see nothing behind you. Thinking you are just sleep-deprived, you continue walking while periodically checking behind you.

You felt your phone vibrate, so you stopped to check and respond to Hyunjin's message only to feel the hairs on the back of your neck stand up. You quickly send an SOS alert message to Hyunjin, you then turn around to see a a guy standing a few feet away from you, all dressed in black so you couldn't see who it was.

"Can I help you?" You nervously ask while glancing around hoping for someone to notice.

"Just making sure you get home in time. Don't want Hyunjin to worry about you" He creepily told you. You instantly freeze wondering how this random stranger knew about Hyunjin.

"How do you know his name?" You asked him while hoping Hyunjin would hurry up.

"I know all about you. Your name is Y/N, you have a brown puppy named Aecha, you are the little sister to a member of a famous K-pop band, and among other things." He responded to you. This freaked you out even more with how much he knew about your life.

"What do you want? Money? My bag?" You quickly ask him, ready to give him whatever he wants or needs.

He is quiet for a moment, only tilts his head to the side a little bit, seemingly to be thinking about what he wants. He blows the smoke from his cigarette into the air.

"I want your brother to pay for what he did. I want his dream and life to burn up in ashes." He spitted out at you.

"What did he do?" You quietly ask him while getting ready to run into the convenience store that you could see was about a block away.

"What did he do? WHAT DID HE DO? He ruined my life, he stole MY spot at an audition, and now he is a big idol, making a lot of money while I am barely scraping by." He yells out, as the topic is starting to get him angry.

You went to respond only to hear footsteps running towards you. You turn to check only to see Hyunjin coming up behind you.

He steps before you, trying to get you as far away from the creepy guy.

"Are you okay? You aren't hurt are you? I tried to get here as fast as I could I already spoke to the police who are on their way". He informs you while quickly checking over you to ensure you weren't hurt or anything.

"I'm okay, and I'm not hurt. More scared than anything." You tell him, happy that he made it in time.

Hyunjin turns back around to check on the guy only to find him not there. He looked further in the distance to see him running away. He just hugs you close to his chest while glad he was able to get to you in time before anything bad happened.

"I'm so glad you're okay. I was worried as hell when I got your SOS location. What did he even want?" He quietly asks you.

"He wanted to get revenge on my brother for ruining his audition and that had his dream crushed. I figured the police would be here by now." Y/N tells him while leaning back from the hug.

He just awkwardly laughs and rubs the back of his neck with his hand.

"Yeah, about that... I lied so it would get him to leave. And it worked so that means you can't be mad at me!" He replies to you.

"I wouldn't be mad anyway. What you did was very brave standing up to him when he was twice your size." You try to tell him while laughing at the picture in your head of Hyunjin squaring up to the stranger.

"It's not funny. I did what I thought was best."

"Then I guess that means I owe you one?" You tell him while leaning up to give him a quick kiss on the cheek as a thank you.

"You don't owe me anything. It's my job to keep my beautiful, smart girlfriend safe from any creepers. Besides just put in a good word to your brother, that way when I ask him in the future for your hand in marriage, he would have no choice but to give the okay." He cheekily says to you. He starts to chuckle at your shocked expression, gently takes your hand, and starts to guide you down the road to your shared dorm.
