As Jiseok and I were walking back to my apartment, the sky decided to let loose with a pouring down rain storm. I just looked over at Jiseok, disappointment on my face from our night walk ruined by a storm that wasn't predicted.

"It's raining a lot, how about we run back to the apartment?"

I just looked at him, and then we started to run as quickly as we could. The 5 minute walk home only too us 3 minutes. By the time we got to the front door of the building, I was all out of breath, while Jiseok was still breathing normally even though it was a bit heavier normal.

He held the door open for me to walk through so we could walk up the 7 flights of stairs to get to my floor. About half way up the 3 set of stairs, I had to sit down so I could catch my breath...again.

"Why did I decide to live in a building with an elevator that they don't ever fix?" I tell him while bending down with my head between my knees to help catch my breath.

"You could always move into my apartment. I don't mind. We've been together for what.. 2 years? Give or take. It's about time we take the next step." He quietly told me while crouching down and balancing on the soles of his feet.

I just stay quiet, not too sure on how to respond to that. On one hand, we would be able to spend more time together, waking up every morning to each other. On the other hand, I like being independent, and having my own space.I'm sure I could do it, I guess I'm too scared to take the next step. I finally decided to respond back to it after thinking it over for a moment while getting up to finish going up the stairs.

"I thought it over, and I do want to take the next step. I'm just scared that if we move in together, nothing will be the same as it is now. I like what we have and it could change. And you know I don't do well with change." I informed him while starting to walk back up the stairs faster than before as my bed was calling me.

"We won't regret it, We have been through much worse together. We are a team and we make decisions together. If you don't feel like you are ready then you don't have to." He told me while rushing up behind me to keep up with me.

Once we finally got to the 7th floor, I opened the fire escape door to get onto my floor. Jiseok followed behind me while grabbing the door so I could continue walking. We finally got to the apartment when I put my code in so the door would unlock.

"We need to eat something after we dry off. Don't want either of us catching a cold"

"How about I take a quick shower then while you take yours I can heat up some soup that was leftover that I froze." I told him while taking my soaking wet shoes and socks off and trading them for slippers.

"That sounds good to me." He said to me while moving to grab one of the few towels I kept next to the door for events like tonight with the rain. He started to dry himself off the best he could.

I walk through my small apartment over to my bathroom to hop in the shower real quick.Once I got undressed and into the shower.

Once I finished up in the shower, I hopped out and started to do my skin care really quick as I was hungry. After I finished all that I cleaned up the bathroom a bit, and set out new towels for JIseok to use.

As I was drying my hair, I walked out of the bathroom so he could hop in really quick. I looked to see him staring at the pictures of us on the walls. I had them in chronological order, from when we first met all the way up to now which was 4 years, and hopefully longer.

I walked over to see which one he was staring at in his hands. It was the one of us graduating high school. I had a big smile on my face, and one arm around his neck pulling him down to my height. He had a laughing expression on his face from how I pulled him down for the picture.

"I forgot how cringy we looked back then." He tells me while moving to hand the picture back up, and picking up the one where he had attempted to ask me out.

"We looked cute back then. Now you debuted and I'm a manager from a band. We both changed our career paths for sure." I told him while staring at the picture in his hands with nostalgia.

"I remember this one clearly. We were walking in a park after one of our many dates we had. It was winter so we were bundled up. I remember you getting sick because you kept refusing my scarf." He told me while starting to laugh at the memory.

"Come on, just wear my scarf. You're going to get sick if you don't wear it." He nags at me while trying to tie the scarf around my neck. I just kept pushing it away anytime he tried to wrap me up.

"I will be fine, you need it more than me. You have a long sleeve on with no neck protection and a thick coat. I have a turtle neck with a heavier jacket and gloves. No way i'm going to get sick." I stubbornly tell him while turning my head away from him. I just hear him sigh and wrap the scarf back around his neck. I turn to see him glaring at me.

I just shrugged my shoulders at the glare. What can I say? I am a stubborn person. I just smile and grab his hand and pull him back down the walkway through the snow.

Oh how I wished I wasn't so stubborn. The very next day, I was sick with a cold, and could not get warm to save my life. He just stood at the end of my bed and just laughed at me being weak and miserable.

"Next time I hope you listen to me. If you did this wouldn't have happened."

Present time...

I just looked at him with a deadly glare, and turned on my heel to warm up some soup in the kitchen. He just laughed and headed into the bathroom to take a quick shower. As I was warming the soup up on the stove he came over to me and wrapped his arms around my waist and rested his head on my shoulder.

"Do you regret that day?" I quietly asked him while stirring the soup that was in the pot.

"Not one bit. One, cause I proved you wrong. And  two, I asked you out the next day when I thought you were awake only to find out you were dead asleep. So I had to ask again another day when I could work the nerves up to do it."

I just smile and start to dish out the soup into 2 bowls, with a slice of bread on the side to help soak up the juices. He takes the now full bowls out of my hands and sets them on the table for me.

As we sat down to eat, I heard him cough a bit but tried to cover it up. I just looked at him and raised my eyebrow. He couldn't even look me in the eye and just started to eat the soup. A few more minutes had passed with us sitting in a comfortable silence while eating, only for him to start sneezing and then coughing harder than he did earlier.

I just looked at him again with a grin on my face. He looked up at me and glared already knowing what I was going to say.

"Now who is the sick one?" I tell him while starting to laugh.

He just gave me the middle finger and ignored me to the best of his ability. That made me laugh even harder. It was a great ending to a night, despite him getting sick from the rain.

A/N: The sleeping part is actually what happened to me when my now husband asked me out. And yet he still reminds me to this day after being married for 3 years coming up on August 21st.
