Jiseok and you have been talking quite a bit these past few weeks. It took a bit to get used to his "cold" attitude but you think it just makes him more mysterious. The two of you have yet to go out on a date.
You were working the morning shift at your new job. You were lucky enough to be able to find a bakery manager job available. Your boss and the customers were much better than at the grocery store.
As you were frosting a special order of blue/white cupcakes, you could feel your phone vibrating signaling that you received a text message. After you finish up with the cupcakes to store them away in the fridge for them to be picked up later. You pulled your phone out of your pocket to see what the message was about only to see it was Jiseok messaging asking you out of a date.

After he replied, you stuck the phone in your back pocket, excited for the end of your shift.
Ae-ra, your boss, came into the decorating area only to see you doing a little happy dance.
"What are you so happy about?" She asks while chuckling at your excited behavior. It reminded her of a small dog when their owner came home.
"I have a date with that guy who helped me with a really rude customer at the store," She told her while trying to catch her breath after dancing.
"I don't remember but as long as you're happy that's all that matters," Ae-ra replied to you while she was leaving your station to go back to the front.
Around the end of your shift, you were picking your satchel up from the break room to go out to the dining area to wait for Jiseok. As you were walking through the double doors, you glanced up only to see him waiting patiently by the door. You started to walk over just for him to glance up from his phone to see you walking towards him.
"You look pretty." He tells you in a semi-deep voice. His voice alone sent chills all through your body.
"It's just my work uniform. Nothing special just has spots of frosting on it." You awkwardly tell him while shuffling one of your feet on the hardwood floor.
"You could be wearing a trash bag, and I will still tell you, that you're pretty." He tells you while moving to grab your hand to escort you out the door until Ae-ra comes rushing over.
"Sorry to interrupt but would you be able to work the morning shift again tomorrow? Su-yun called out sick with the flu and I don't have anyone to cover tomorrow since I will be in meetings all day." She quickly asked you.
"I don't mind, I could always use the extra money. I'll be here," You told her who quickly clapped her hands, and rushes off with a quick 'You are a lifesaver'.
"Shall we go?" Jiseok asked you while holding his hand out. You respond with a 'yes' and take the hand he offered you.
While walking toward the movie theater, the two of you were discussing what movie to see.
"What about Ransomed? I heard it was a good movie?" He tells you while guiding me around people who wouldn't move out of the way.
"That works for me. It sounds like it will be funny or it could be an action. Who knows." You responded to him.
After about walking for 20 minutes the both of you finally get to the theater, and as you get to the front of the line, you start getting your wallet out to pay for your ticket only to look up to Jiseok with 2 tickets in his hand.
"I would've paid for myself you know? At least let me pay you back, please. I feel so guilty about you spending money on me." You hastily told him. He just looks back at you and smiles.
"It's really simple. I asked you on a date, so of course I'd pay for you. It's how I was raised. So as long as you are with me, you won't have to pay for everything." He strictly tells you while grabbing your hand to start guiding you into the theater after he handed the tickets to a ticket person.
As the 2 of you sat down, you turned your phone on silent and turned the darkness down. You could see him turn his phone off fully after typing for a few moments. You just looked at him until he noticed your confused face.
"My other 2 roommates will keep blowing my phone up to see how the date is going. I don't want any distractions." He informs you while sitting back to get comfy as the movie starts to play.
Once the movie started to play, you felt a bit awkward with your arms sitting in your lap. You guess he could tell as he grabbed your right hand in his left, and his other hand pulled your head gently to lay on his left shoulder.
You instantly turned red, extremely glad that the theater was dark. After a few minutes, your tensed-up body started to relax enough for you to scoot even closer to him, enjoying the warmth his body was producing.
After a couple of hours, the movie finally finished. You lifted my head off his shoulder right when the lights came on. Then you got up to stretch after sitting for so long. You looked at Jiseok only to find him looking right back at you.
"How did you enjoy the movie?" He asked you while moving to get up and stretch as well.
As he was stretching you could see a bit of his abs from his shirt lifting up and quickly looked away.
"I enjoyed it. Glad to have seen it. It was worth it." You tell him while taking your phone out to turn off silent and turn the brightness back up.
"How about I walk you home?" He asked you while the both of you were walking out of the theater.
"I ordered a car so It should be outside waiting for me," You informed him while grabbing his hand.
Once we reached outside, I saw the white car waiting at the curb.
"That's my car right there. Thank you for the date, by the way, I enjoyed it. Hopefully, we get to go out on another one." You hurriedly told him while reaching up to kiss his cheek quickly. Once you did that, you bolted for the car door that was held open for you.
When the driver was pulling away you sent him a quick text saying:
'I call this payback for what you did at the grocery store. Please let me know when you get home.'
You just locked your phone and started to smile at how bold you were. Excited for whenever the next date was.

Once we got out of the theater, and over to the car she was taking. She let go of my hand and leaned up kissed my cheek quickly and then hopped in the car as the driver shut the door. I just stood there in shock, staring at the car as it pulled away from the curb. My phone buzzed so I looked down only to see a text from her.
'I call this payback for what you did at the grocery store. Please let me know when you get home.
I text her back saying that this was the first of many dates. After I sent the text, I started to walk to the train station so I could head home and get some rest for tomorrow. Excited for our next date whenever that may be.
