"So," Natasha said after the two had finished eating. "I like to think that the two of us are good friends."

"After what we did in the bathroom and bedroom, I would hope so." Harry snorted.

"So...I want to know...are you willing to take me out this weekend?" Natasha asked.

"You mean on a date?" Harry raised an eyebrow.

"That's exactly what I mean." Natasha nodded. "So, how about it?" She asked.

"I...fine," Harry said after a short pause. "I am willing to take you out on Saturday, on the condition that if this doesn't work out then we go back to friends, preferably with benefits but we go back to friends."

"I know you're going to refuse but I..." Natasha paused as she realized what he had just said. "...wait what?" She asked, wondering if she heard right. "Really?"

"I...I do have feelings for you," Harry admitted. "I don't like that I have feelings, but I do. I am willing to give us a chance, I have concerns but like I said, I'm willing to give it a chance."

"Oh..." Natasha said in a soft voice, still a little bit surprised. "wow. Thank you, I know you have worries, but I am glad that you're willing to try."

"Yeah, well I..." Harry was cut off as his phone began ringing. "excuse me," Harry said to Natasha before he took his phone and answered it. "yes?"

"Hello, Mr Potter? It's me, Gwen, Gwen Stacy." Gwen's voice replied. "I don't know if you remember but we met at Stark's party."

"Yeah, I remember you. Kind of hard to forget the wall climbing," Harry replied in an amused voice. "can I help you with something?" Harry asked.

"Yes, actually, I was wondering if you have yet to come up with an answer on joining the Avengers?" She asked.

"I have, I am willing to give it a shot." Harry answered. "With that being said I will also quit the team without hesitation if I ever feel I have a sufficient reason to do so."

"Fair enough," Gwen's voice replied. "Fury also wanted me to pass on some information about where you'd be living, he wanted me to let you know that he will probably have an option for you by tomorrow. I...oh I have to go now, but I will probably call you in a day or so. Goodbye." Gwen said before hanging up.

"What did she want?" Natasha asked in a curious voice. "Was she asking about the Avengers?"

"Yeah," Harry nodded. "I'm willing to give it a chance, but like I said to her if I feel like I have a good enough reason to quit then I will. Like if we turn on each other, lose sight of our purpose, become government toys."

"I am rather curious about how someone who distrusts as much as you ended up working for Shield," Natasha admitted. "I would have figured you would have preferred to stay in hiding."

"I needed something to do," Harry shrugged. "plus I spent most of my last life time hiding. Being chased around the world is not a fun experience, I made it clear to Fury that I could either help him a lot or cost him more."

"Yes, well I..." Natasha found herself cut off as Harry's phone began ringing.

"Damn it." Harry sighed.
