Chapter 40

Once the dust cleared away Harry floated down and landed next to Thor, Harry glanced at Jane and was slightly surprised to see that Loki was covering Jane.

"Is it finished?" Sif asked as she and Padfoot stopped next to Harry. Before anyone could say anything else, small bits of red rose up into the air and flew towards Malekith. They joined together into a dark cloud before flying into Malekith, Malekith's skin darkened before he let out a satisfied grunt, he now had the Aether.

Malekith and his black creature turned and waked away with a few of the dark elf soldiers while the rest of the soldiers rushed towards Harry and his group.

"Not finished." Harry said just before Thor and Sif began bashing away the dark elves, Thor with his hammer and Sif with her sword and shield. Harry teleported and landed a small distance in front of Malekith. "Where the fuck do you think you are going?" Harry said before he aimed his wand at Malekith and fired a killing curse.

Malekith casually raised his hand and a red whip shot made from the Aether shout out from his palm and pulled one of his soldiers in the way of the curse, he then flicked his wrist and the soldier was sent straight at Harry who casually leaned to the side to let the dead body fly past.

"Move out of my way, wizard." Malekith said calmly.

"You clearly don't care much about your people." Harry said before he aimed his wand and fired a high powered cutting curse followed by another killing curse, if Malekith was going to get his own men killed then Harry wasn't going to object. But Malekith did not repeat the same action as before, but instead raised his hand, a dark red wall made from the Aether appeared and took both spells, any damage caused to it had become repaired within a second.

The wall shifted and turned into several tentacles, the tentacles drilled into the ground and headed towards Harry, they shot out from under Harry and tried to grab him. Harry flew into the air and managed to cut off two of them when one managed to grab him by the leg, the tentacle slammed him into the ground before raising him into the air and tossing him. Harry flew over Malekith's head and was in the air for a few more seconds before he was able to stabilize himself and descend to the ground.

As soon as Harry's feet hit the ground he heard the sound of running, he turned and saw the black creature charging towards him and was only a second away from hitting him. Harry's shield quickly appeared on his left arm and took the brunt of damage from the creatures punch, despite that Harry still flew a great distance back and landed hard on his back before rolling several more meters and crashing into a rock. Funny thing about a shield, it takes the damage but your body still feels the force of the impact. Harry had to lay still as several of his broken bones had healed.

Harry's shield vibrated from absorbing the creatures attack. The creature had closed the distance, it was surprisingly fast for something so big and strong. As it came closer Harry saw Mjolnir flying towards the creature, the creature suddenly turned around and slapped it away as if it was a basketball. Thor charged towards the creature followed by Sif, Thor threw a punch but the creature was barely able to dodge in time, the creature hit Thor with a hard right hook that sent him flying away.

"Hey asshole." Harry called, the creature turned to Harry who had aimed his shield at it. The shield blasted the creature who flew upwards before landing a small distance away.

"Are you alright?" Sif asked as she stopped next to him and helped him up.

"I'm fine." Harry said just as Thor crashed next to them.
