Kate and Jessica sit across from one another sipping their coffee with sly grins across their faces.

"I am glad you're back but, you should know you're not going to be able to tease Harvey with your title for much longer." Jessica tells the woman.

Kate responds with a mischievous grin. "I have other ideas."

Louis per usual, ruins their peaceful morning by stomping into the office. "I'm not saying that I haven't been turned by Harvey, but it's just so patronising when you say that he can handle those things and, Louis, you can only handle this. Jessica, I could have handled Gerald Tate." He pauses and turns to Kate. "Good morning, Kate. Glad you're back, maybe you can reign in your clown of a husband."

"Good morning, Louis." Kate gives him a humorous smile.

"And I told you I disagree." Jessica shakes her head.

"Why?"

"Because when you put two bullies in the same room together, things generally don't go so well." Harvey smirks as he walks into the room and begins pouring himself a coffee, he pauses as he notices his wife sitting there with a coy smile on her face. "You're not supposed to be back until tonight. Why did Louis get to see you before I did?"

"Harvey." She grins into her coffee cup as he gives her a quick kiss on the head.

The peace only lasts a second as Louis opens his mouth yet again.

"It's 9:30, nice of you to show up two hours after we open for business. And I see that you're also trying to look like a pimp." Louis butts in sassily, eyeing the man up and down.

Harvey grunts tauntingly and covers Kate's ears. "My bad, Louis, I was out late last night and when I woke up, this is the suit your wife picked out for me."

"And that would be funny if I'd actually be married." Louis points at him before turning to Kate almost as if looking for reassurance. Kate gives him a thumbs up as she attempts to stifle her laughter. She had missed these twos banter. "And real nice when your wife is right there, Harvey."

"Moving along." Jessica sighs already feeling the headache forming.

"You're not married?" Harvey questions Louis with faux confusion.

"Recruiting. Harvey, your interviews are set up for tomorrow. I was just speaking with Kate about assisting you in making the right choice."

Harvey scoots a chair closer to Kate and sits down. "What? Why don't we just hire the Harvard summer associate douche? Stop sicking the wife card on me, Jessica. "

"Do you hear yourself?" Kate sarcastically questions. Harvey leans closer to her. "I'd rather hear you."

Kate puts a finger in her mouth and quietly fake gags.

"Something like that."

Her head snaps toward him and her cheeks turn a bright red. "HARVEY REGIN-"

"Harvey." Jessica warns with a sharp glare, he shrugs. "We need people who think on their feet, not another clone with a rod up his ass."

"Harvey, the fact that we only hire from Harvard gives us a cache that's a little more valuable than hiring a kid from Rutgers." Louis groans dramatically.

Harvey cups his ear looking around in confusion letting Louis know he's not listening.

"He's not wrong, but none of these new associates have fire. They're boring, submissive, and I really question the validity of their Harvard degree." Kate grumbles thinking of a few that were scrambling around the office just this morning when she arrived.

"Not helping." Jessica tells her friend. "Harvey, you went to Harvard Law."

"I'm an exception." He shrugs.

"Find me another one."

"Can we please skip the recruiting? I work better alone anyway." Harvey dodges again, willing to do anything to not have an annoying puppy follow him around all day.

Jessica sighs. "Well, I would, Harvey, except all senior partners get an associate. It's just a rule."

Kate covers her face with a wince as Louis balks. "I'm sorry, what? Jessica, I deserve that promotion. My billables destroy his. And I'm here night and day doing whatever's needed instead of swanning in and out of here whenever I please. Kate, back me up."

"Don't involve me, please." Kate begs, whenever she's put in the middle of these two it's always a migraine.

Harvey stands and chuckles. "I must admit, he does make me sound very swan-like."

"Harvey, shut up. Louis, this is how it is. Alright? Now, you two make nice."

Louis turns to his cousin. "Kate-"

Kate stands and looks at her bare wrist. "Shoot, I'm so sorry Louis. I have a meeting with a client in ten."

She books it out of the office just in time for her to hear Louis say, "Wait, Kate! You're not wearing a watch!"

Her heels click across the pristine floor and she keeps her head forward as hurried steps rush behind from behind her.

"You didn't tell me you were back."

"I wanted to surprise you."

The two stop a few steps away from both of their assistants, staring at each other.

Harvey smirks. "I would've preferred for a surprise in bed."

"Not in the workplace, Harvey. You know this." She turns around, her hair whipping around and struts into her office. Harvey watches her for a moment his eyes traveling down.

"Good morning, Mr. Specter." A male voice clears his throat with a knowing raised brow.

Harvey slightly shifts his eyes towards the woman's assistant. "Not a word, Ed."

Edward tries to a hide a smirk as he looks toward Harvey and then Donna who mirrors his look a few feet behind Harvey at her own desk.
"Wouldn't dream of it."
