Dorothy's POV
When you get sick, it starts out with a single bacteria. One lone nasty intruder. Pretty soon the intruder duplicates. Becomes two. Then those two become four. And those four become eight. Then, before your body knows it, it's under attack. It's an invasion. The question for a doctor is, Once the invaders have landed, Once they've taken over your body... How the hell do you get rid of them? A group of doctors pass by my hospital room wearing orange scrubs while I am sitting in my bed drinking my hot chocolate. Holding onto the stethoscope that I cleared from George's locker, I couldn't help but feel sad he never got to be the great trauma surgeon I know he could be. I gave Louise the rest of the things in his locker but kept two things being his stethoscope and his teddy bear scrub cap that Lily gave him. Lily enters my hospital room with the twins and notices the items in my right hand.
"George's mom gave me permission to take these two items. I am giving you the scrub cap and Meredith the stethoscope. Now let me hold my niece and nephew." Lily takes the scrub cap and puts it in her pocket before handing me the twins. Caroline had her hand in her mouth looking up at me while Timothy was trying to grab my dog tag necklaces. Though he's not able to do that since he's only a couple of months old.
"The surgeons from Mercy West are here. They're in the locker room. Meredith gave your interns their assignments." Lily says when Lexie enters the room and sits down on the bed next to me.
