His name came out as a whisper when suddenly all the lights lit up.
My eyes scanned the whole living room, the colour of walls have changed from dark grey to white, there are some scenery paintings....which I showed him once and i told him that i love these paintings.
He bought them for me?
The whole face of the living room has been changed, I came towards the sofa where there was a note 'At the terrace please, I am waiting. Take your time' with a heart.
I chuckled shaking my head a little as I headed towards the terrace not before picking his gifts.
As i entered the room, the colour has been changed from grey and black to white, my favourite colour.
He literally changed the colour of the penthouse and there was a big portrait of a picture of me and Aarnav where we both were seeing eachother so lovingly, I don't even know when this photo was clicked.
Before going to the terrace I took a quick bath and changed into a black sleeveless dress and did a few make up steps as i thought he might be waiting for me, and went to the terrace with his gifts.
As i stepped on the terrace, I saw a table decorated with food, cake and dim lights.
I walked toward the table and put down the gifts admiring the place.
"Happy anniversary dove" he said back hugging me.
"Happy anniversary Aarnav" I said with tears in my eyes and these were just so overwhelming for me.
"You changed the whole penthouse" i said "you didn't liked the dark colours so" he said putting his chin on my shoulder "you didn't had to" I said with a sob in between.
"I don't wanna make you uncomfortable in your own house"
"Oh Aarnav" I turned and hugged him tightly crying.
"Sshh" he patted my back a little shushing me.
"I am sorry I went with Jiya and Ahana leaving you alone"
