Chapter 1

Rastogi Mansion
Author’s pov:
It was 8:00 a.m. in the morning and the alarm was ringing for the second time, but our miss Anika was fast asleep and completely in her dreamy world, soon to realize that she has an appointment with one of her clients at 9:30 a.m. She woke up in a hurry, got ready, and came down screaming, “Good morning, everyone!”
“Papa I have an important meeting with one of the clients at the Sky High Hotel. I am leaving" said Anika. “Don’t you dare step out without having breakfast” Anika’s mom yelled from the kitchen. "Ma, please, I am already late and the meeting is at 9:30." Before her mom could say anything, Badi Ma bought a box with some fresh fruits, sandwiches, and a bottle of orange juice. “Take this, have it while going in the car, and don’t forget the juice,” Badi Ma told her while handing her the box and the bottle. “Thank you so much, Badi Ma. I love you so much. I promise I will finish before reaching the hotel." Anika hugged her Badi Ma and left for the meeting.

At Anand Nivas [Rajveer’s house]:
Author’s pov:
All the members of the Khanna family were sitting at the dining table and were having breakfast. Amongst everyone Ranveer was missing as always because he had returned home at 3 in the morning after his party. “When will this fool get some seriousness?” Mr. Rudraksh said in an angry tone. “It’s ok, dad, he has just finished college. Let him take rest,” Raghu said, supporting his brother.
Rajveer’s phone rang, and it was his PA’s call: "Sir, please come to the office immediately. We have a big legal issue. Some of our employees have filed a case against us for exploitation and heavy duty." Rajveeer stood up in shock and informed the family about the issue.
Rajveer and Raghuveer immediately left to the office.

At RK’s head office, Navi Mumbai:

“Good morning, sir. Here is the list of employees’ names and their details.” handed him a tablet with information from Yuvi, Rajveer’s P.A., and one of his most trusted people in the office.
“How did all of this happen, Yuvi? We have never treated any employees like this.” Rajveer snapped at Yuvi.
"Bhai, I strongly believe it is our rivals. They couldn’t get the Summer Project, so they are trying to sabotage us with our employees.” added Raghuveer.
"Yuvi, right away, fix a meeting with our legal team. Be quick.”
"Yes Raj sir.”

At the Sky High Hotel:
“Good morning, Mr. Shah. I am so sorry. Did I keep you guys waiting?”
“No, Miss. Anika You are just on time, but please help us with this case.”
“So yes, Mr. Shah, what is the issue?”
“We have been falsely accused of plagiarism by a group of small artists on our newly launched summer outfits.”
“Mr. Shah, Can you please have each and every detail of the same, mailed to me right away so that I can proceed with the case as quick as possible.”
“Yes, Ms. Anika I will mail you all the details, but please finish this as soon as possible because we have the launch planned by the end of this month.”
“I will try my best, sir. Don’t worry, you can get ready with your launch.”
“So then I will take your leave, Mr. Shah, and I will keep you updated on the case.”
“Thank you so much, Ms. Anika. I have heard that you have never lost a single case ever since you stepped into your career. I am really looking forward to this case.”
“This is the career I have always dreamt of sir. It’s more than just work for me.”
“I can see your passion and dedication towards your work. Ok then let’s meet with a happy news winning the case.”
At the conference room, RK’s head office:
“What is wrong with you guys? It’s been more than 5 hours, and you guys still don’t have any updates or news about the issue” Rajveer said with a stern voice.
“We are working on it, sir. They have hired a powerful lawyer and it’s hard to get through.”
“Then what are you guys for? Why do I pay your salary? So that you give this reason? I don’t know what you guys will do, just finish this case asap. We can’t work on our new project until it finishes.”
“Yes, sir, we will give an update soon.”
“Dismissed”
Rajveer's anger has reached its peak, as he can’t believe that his own employees are trying to ruin the company.
