Rastogi Mansion

“Everyone will get married younger than you elder than you but you stay single like this” Suma ji said.
“omg Ma when did you come”
“Why I should not come? Or I am talking about your marriage that’s why you wanted me to not come.”

“There is nothing like that Ma. Why are you always behind me for marriage? Nowadays people are getting married at 30 years also and I am still 25.”
“So you will also get married at 30 only right? Final? If so don’t talk to me from today.”

“MA what is wrong with you I didn’t say I will also get married at 30…”
“Then what did you mean?” Suma ji had tears in her eyes.
“Ma please don’t cry and that to for my marriage? Please listen to me Ma.”
“I said DON’T TALK TO ME” Suma ji shouted.

“Ma please calm down your BP will raise if you take so much tension, please calm down ma.”
“Let it raise I will die shouting at you like this but it’s ok don’t listen to me do as you want.”

Anika was helpless at the situation as even her father didn’t support her this time. Anika sat on bed holding her head and thought for some time and spoke,

“Okay you guys want me to get married right, fine I am ready to get married.”
“Don’t tell simply just because I shouted on you.” Suma ji said.

“No I am not saying because of at that, I want you guys to be happy and if your happiness seeing me getting married then fine go ahead. And one more thing I don’t have anyone so I will get married to someone who you guys will choose for me.”

Anika knew she had taken a very big decision but she also knew how much her parents were concerned about her. She was feeling so many emotions together so she went to her room.

“Why did you react like that Suma? She is your daughter. How sad she was you saw?” Subhash ji asked.
“Then what I had to do, you tell me? Everyone asks me when is your daughter getting married, especially relatives they were saying that something is wrong with our daughter.” Suma ji let out her frustration.
“Anika is our daughter and we know there is nothing wrong with her. Stop listening to all those people, see because of them you hurt your daughter today.” Subhash ji calmed Suma ji.

“But this society is not like us Subhash ji, people always blame the girl if anything bad happens. Not getting married or not being able to conceive, always people say it is the girl’s mistake or something is wrong with her only not the man.” Suma ji spoke about how harsh society is.
“I know all this Suma but we have raised our daughter strong and now she is ready for marriage right? Don’t worry we will find a perfect husband and a loving family for her.”
“Yes, I want my daughter always to be happy.” Suma Ji said emotionally.

Next day in Delhi,

Subhash ji had reached Delhi by 12 and was resting in his hotel room when he got a call from Anika.

OTP:

“Hello Papa, reached safely?”
“Yes beta I reached by 12 and now I am taking some rest in the hotel before I get on the work.”
“Oh ok when do you have the meeting?”
“It's in the evening so I have time for some rest.”
Anika and Subhash ji were talking on the phone when Subhash ji got another call.
“Annu beta I am getting a call from Rudraksh so I will call you later. Subhash ji said ending the call the call with Anika.

“Hello Khanna Sahab how are you?”
“I am fine Rastogi ji, how about you.”
“I am also fine. I heard your company hired their new legal team from us.”
“Yes yes Rajveer said and I am really happy about it”
“Don’t worry I have asked my daughter to provide your company with our best lawyers.”
“I don’t have any doubt in that Rastogi ji I totally trust you and your daughter.”
“So what is the matter?” Subhash ji asked.
“I don’t think it is good to talk on the phone so let's meet and talk about it. Somewhere outside our houses, bring Suma Bhabhi also with you. Maya and I wanted to talk about something important.”
“Oh ok but I don’t think I can meet you for another 5 days.”
“Why? What happened?” Rudraksh ji asked.
“I have come to Delhi for some work and I will be returning next week. What is the matter tell me.”
