*On the Phone*

“Hello Rudraksh ji.” Subhash ji addressed.
“Hello Rastogi ji, how are you?”
“I am good Khanna ji you tell what about you?”
“I am also fine Rastogi ji. You have raised your daughter very well she is also very dedicated like you. She helped us very much.”
“Yes she always wanted to be a lawyer like me and I just guided her. Your sons are also taking your company to great heights.”
“yes my first son Rajveer and second son Raghuveer are very much interested in the company but my third son doesn’t want to work only.”
“Anika said he is just fresh out of college and still young. Once he understands he will also take up his responsibilities.”
“yes, I am also hoping that only. And do you still watch cricket Subhash?”
“yes, I still follow cricket Rudra ji. It’s been so long since we spoke about cricket.”
“How much we used to discuss news politics when you dropped me to my office every day.”
“Such sweet memories. By the way, how is your brother and his family.”
“They are also very well recently they had been to Dwarka and a few other places with Ma and Baoji (father). How is your elder brother and Bhabhi ji?”
“Suma is fine she is always preparing new dishes. Ramesh bhai is now relaxed she got his daughter Anamika married 4 years back and now enjoying his retirement life.”
“Oh Anamika got married, so nice to hear. She was also small when we last saw her and she is all grown up now.”
“Yes yes.”
“Subhash let’s meet it’s been so long since we met.  Maya first asked me to invite you and your family as soon as possible.”
“Rudra ji my daughter has come to your house from our side now you and your family are coming to our house.” Suma ji who was sitting next to Subhash ji signaled him to pass her the phone.
“Rudra Bhai ji it’s me Suma.”
“Oh hi Suma ji how are you?”
“I am fine Rudra ji how is Maya Bhabhi give her the phone please.”
“She is also fine here talk to her” Rudraksh ji said handing the phone to Maya ji.
“How are you, Suma.”
“I am fine Maya Bhabhi how are you?”
“I am also fine Suma I miss our cooking sessions and trying new recipes.”
“Come home Bhabhi even me and Anusuya also miss you, let’s cook together again.”
“Yes yes, I will surely come.”
“Bhabhi you met Anika right she was so happy she showed the chocolates you gave her.”
“Anika beta… She is such a cheerful and pretty girl I was not letting her go only. Not only me but everyone in our house was so happy to meet her. Such good values and traditions with equally good in her work, you have got an amazing daughter Suma.”
“Thank you, Bhabhi my Annu is like that only she spreads happiness everywhere she goes. Bhabhi if all of you are free next week then please come to our house we can spend time and even our families can meet.”
“Yes yes I will ask Rudra ji and everybody and let you know when we will be coming.”
“Ok Bhabhi it was so nice talking to you again after so long. Tell me two days in advance I will prepare everything and come in the morning only then we will have the whole day to talk and try new recipes. If not your sons at least you, Bhai ji, Shankar bhai ji, and Bhavani come. Oh, and even Uncle Aunty bring them also Mummy ji will get some company.” Suma ji said and ended the call.

Call ended.

“I have invited them to our house next week.” Suma ji informed Subhash ji.
“Great I will inform Ramesh Bhai also about it”
Both families were very excited about meeting each other.

Next morning,

Anand Nivas

Everyone was having breakfast at the dining table.
“yesterday Subhash ji and Suma had called they have invited all of us to their house next week” Maya ji informed everybody.
“We all will go in the morning itself you kids can come for dinner”
“That is so sweet of them Papa” Raghu said.
“everyone has to come no one will give reasons especially you Raj”
“I will see Ma”
“No see and all you have to come” Maya ji said sternly.
“Didi we don’t know them much will it be okay if we come” Bhavani ji asked
“They have specially invited everyone. They have also asked Mummy ji and Papa Ji to come. They are really nice people we will have a great time there.” Suma ji explained.
“Then ok didi.”

Rastogi Mansion

“Annu... Annu, where are you? come for breakfast. If you step out of the house without having breakfast I will break your legs today.”
“Mumma chill I will have breakfast give. Good morning everyone”
“Good morning beta”
“So Papa what did Rudraksh uncle and you speak yesterday.”
“Same old things, like we used to go to each other’s house and all the important things that happened in these years.”
“And yes we have invited them to our house next week”
“Nice you guys can meet finally”
“you also take a day off and stay at home at that”
“For what I have already met them all.”
“I don’t know anything just stay at home”
“Mumma please”
Suma ji raised her eyes with anger.
“Okay cool I..I will be there. Which day because if it’s on Monday it's difficult for me.”
“no not Monday they will be coming on Wednesday.”
“okay fine, then I will be there.”
Anika went back to her room after breakfast.
“Why does mumma always do this to me”
“What happened Bacha?” Anamika asked.
“She has called Khanna uncle’s family next week and wants me to stay home all day.”
“Why, you don’t want to meet them?”
“No, it's not like that. They are coming on a weekday and she wants me to take a holiday.”
“It’s ok you are regular to the office, one day even you can take off. I will ask Kabir to manage.”
“No no, don’t trouble Jijs”
“What troubling thing he has to manage only when you are not there.”
“Di why do you like to trouble your husband.”
“Even he troubles me that’s why. And you don’t take his side everytime.”
“I feel bad for him that’s why I take his side”
Anika knew Anamika would get pissed off so she started running.
“Where are you running wait till I get you.”
Anika was being chased by her sister when she saw her brother–in–law had come she took the chance and hid behind him.
“Kabir Jiju please help your wife has gone mad she is chasing me. I am scared of her”
“but why are you hiding behind me even I am scared of her”
Everyone giggled when Kabir said he was scared of Anamika.
“What did you say?” Anamika asked raising her eyebrow.
“Nothing Baby I didn’t say anything but why were you chasing Annu.”
“Your Annu is always irritating and annoying me that’s why”
“Do you think I am annoying Jiju?” Anika said with puppy eyes.
“Aww, never you are the sweetest.”
“You both jija Saali always team up against me” Anamika said acting all sad.
“WE LOVE YOU” Anika and Kabir said together hugging Anamika.
Everyone was so happy to see such good bonding.
