𝐈𝐢𝐝𝐚 𝐬𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐫, 𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐫. He ignored his friend's texts and calls. He missed out his fights from the Sports Festival for a family emergency.

He just didn't think it involved his brother.

Ingenium or Tensei to be more familiar, had an incident with the Hero Killer: Stain. Now he is paralyzed from the waist to his toes. This forced him to retire and allow him to pass on the hero name of Ingenium to Iida.

But Iida didn't want it. He didn't want his brother to retire. He didn't want to see him lying down in a hospital helplessly.

He had this burning feeling in his throat, his intestines twisting themselves with guilt. His head echoing with a somewhat murderous intent. He wanted to get revenge.

He wanted to get back at Stain. That nose-less bitch. He wanted to kill him so bad. He tightened his fists, his knuckles turned white. Tears threatened his blue eyes.

A hand on his shoulder.

Iida didn't even notice someone came into the room. He glanced up and expected it to be his mother but he widened his eyes.

He sprang from his seat and bowed vigorously. "T-Tempus-san, what are you doing here?!"

It was the number five hero in front of him. The one who saved his classmates back at the USJ. Is it fate that he encountered her twice? Now he's being silly, this isn't a romance story from Wattpad that his friend Uraraka would send him.

Tempus waved him off, seeing Ingenium sleeping. "You should head home, rest."

She tried to make her voice more gruff and crisp otherwise it'll be recognized from him.

Iida bit his lip. "I. . feel the need to stay with Tensei."

"I understand but I'll take care of it." She said bluntly.

"What do you mean?"

Tempus let out a defeated sigh, seeing his eyes become watery. It was like seeing a child who got lost.

She walked outside the room, knowing he would tail after her. Tempus stood in front of a vending machine, different varieties of snacks as she placed her hands on her hips.

"Do you want anything to eat, I'll buy it for you. ." She mumbled, pulling out some yen from her pocket.

Iida raised an eyebrow to her character. She seems nice, extremely strong, and smart. But she kinda says the most strangest stuff in the most attractive way possible-

"Uh, no. I properly decline, Tempus-san." He couldn't stop thinking about his brother.

His brother who could've been dead. Who can no longer run. Jump. Dance. Simply walk and yet alone stand. It was dreadful to even imagine.

He hated the word Stain. The name was just bitter to even say it aloud. It made him irk and think of things that are just illegal. This is saying a lot because he is not one to break rules.

"Iida-san, whatever you're thinking, stop thinking about it. ." She inserted some yen into the machine, leaning against it now.

"I don't know what you're talking about." Iida blushed lightly, his hands on his side.

Tempus tapped her finger against the glass. "The reason I'm here in Hosu is that I'm here to take care of Stain. . I'm thinking you have other plans once you get your internship. ."

He widened his eyes, looking away which made it more suspicious. "What do you mean 'take care?'"

Iida sounded too excited when he blurted that out.

She raised her brows slightly in this. "Prison. . what were you thinking?"

"Nothing ma'am, it's probably the absence of my six to eight hours of sleep." He denied quietly.

Tempus stood in front of him, her finger tucked in her belt and she lazily stared into his eyes. She knew what he was planning to do and it was plain stupid. Sure, he wants revenge but this wasn't the answer.

Iida on the other hand was dealing with emotional trauma that happened with his brother and teenager hormones with his crush that's three inches away from him.

"Iida-san, you don't have a license to do this. ." She whispered, her peppermint breath hit his face like a breeze

He pushed up his glasses, the light reflecting off of them. "There's no license for what I have to do."

"Don't. . I'll take care of it, I said. ." She murmured lowly. "I'm a hero and it's my job. You're still a kid. ."

"But my brother lost something. His freedom and dignity." He replied, glaring. "If you weren't a hero, wouldn't you want to do the same thing if this happened to one of your family members?"

Tempus crossed her arms over her chest. "That would've been a good theory to test out if only. ."

He felt guilt instantly pang at the side of his head like a truck. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to offend you!"

Iida did an aggressive bow, closing his eyes shut. Tempus shook her head subtly, pushing his head up by the chin with her gloved finger.

"I don't matter right now but the thing is. ." She grabbed both of his shoulders and pulled him up. "You have too much to lose so stay away from Stain. . . please?"

She didn't like talking, it was too much work and really awkward. This was necessary though, Iida was a family man and tended to push things to the edge.

Tempus let go of his shoulders and walked to the vending machine again, grabbing the contents that fell out. She walked back to Iida and handed him the items before leaving him by himself.

A can of Pringles and Fiji water.
